Starbucks

Seriously, every time I come to this location the employees are pretty rude, and they always say that they are out of stuff! Are they out of it or do they just not want to make it! The employees need to be more friendly instead of snobs!

Everytime I say I’m not coming back I find myself in line ordering. My caramel macchiato is on point & yes I got the last toffee cookie. If you get the cookie ask them to warm it up. This Starbucks is clean & they get you in & out.

i love this place. first of all there is no parking problem any time during the day. also employees are very friendly except one lady but most of them are super nice. i go there everyday and leave happy for sure:)

Brrrrr … It’s about 50 degrees in here. Nobody’s interested in keeping the customers comfortable and they are not helping the environment by running the A/​C on high when it’s only 70 degrees outside.

I only come here a few days a week, and I wouldn’t really expect anyone to remember me. However, whenever Justin is working, he always greets me with «Welcome back!» and some friendly conversation. Coming from someone who works two customer service jobs, this is great customer service and makes him a great brand representative. He clearly pays attention to detail and cares about what he’s doing, which isn’t always easy in the service industry. Kudos!

Usual Starbucks fare and maybe it’s just my imagination but they seem lesser staffed and have fewer food options that most locations. It’s definitely on the small side,
kinda hidden in an outpost of Potomac Yard. There isn’t a ton of space so they’ve squeezed in a lot of tables. For a less crowded option, snag an outdoor table. Not the best Bucks for hanging out and pretending to write the next great novel or screenplay but it does the job for a caffeine fix.

Okay so I am sitting here now. I had a gift certificate so I thought I’d go in. It’s near my house. If Starbucks management happens to read this, and if you care, this was at 10:30, June 15^th. Figure out who was working. Three women. One more rude than the other. I almost didn’t want my chai by the time I finished ordering. I got a «fresh» sandwich as well. Not so fresh. Dry. Stale. Awful. And, the tables were filthy. In addition, some supplies had been delivered (before I got there) and were sitting on customer tables taking up space and blocking two, four person tables. Eight seats unable to be used while customers searched for places to sit. After the line dispersed, the three women stood around laughing. Not caring that there was no room to sit. I hate to write a bad review of a Starbucks, it usually wouldn’t even be worth it. But this was worse than awful. Avoid.

I just went into this Starbucks. 3 or 4 people behind the counter… rude, rude, rude! I ordered a vanilla latte with an extra shot… simple. what I got was a cup of foam. when I went up front to question it the girl didn’t even come up to the counter she sat there with her arms folded and said «yeah that’s what a latte is», completely rude. 6 bucks for a cup of foam. the self service station where you can put cream and sugar in your cup all items empty and it was a sticky mess… really 4 people behind the counter and this is how you act… never again will I enter this place… rude, rude, rude!

This is my regular starbucks. It’s nothing different from all the others. Staff is friendly and all my drinks are made perfectly.

I went to this location on numerous locations and each time I go I order a tall coffee in a grande cup, I add cream into and each time I’m not surprised to be scalded or to be handed a cup of coffee that ranges in temperature from over 200°. I brought in a electronic Monitor earlier today and my cup of Joe was 207°. After adding cream.
When I asked the barista what temperature they brew their coffee, he arrogantly replied, «210° and that’s how we serve it!»
However, according to the representative from their customer service and from the Starbucks website, it says they’re supposed to brew between 195° to 205° and serve it no hotter than 185°. 22° hotter is quite a significant difference! Incongruence with many other reviews, customer service at this location is rude, ill-​informed and lied to my face, and the coffee is scalding hot. Remember your customers keep you employed, scolding them will also burn you. #PeetsCoffee here I come.

This is one of the smaller Starbucks I’ve been to. This particular Starbucks location didn’t have very comfortable seating accommodations, but the service was good. I initially went in with my laptop to get some work done, but had to leave because the seating area was so awkward. It took roughly 5mins to receive my grade flat white espresso drink. This was my first flat white, and I have to say I am a fan.
The location is conveniently located in Potomac Yard shopping center but hidden in the corner. Parking is one of the main selling points for this particular Starbucks location. There is an abundance of parking and you will not have to walk far. I went on a Saturday afternoon (arguably one of the busiest days to be entering a shopping complex) and I was easily able to find parking.
There is no drive-​thru which is a shame, especially on cold days such as today, I would have loved to stay in my warm toasty car.

Bad customer service. I will never go to this Starbucks even that it less than a mile from my home…

10÷21÷14 bring your own napkins:) the entire store is out of napkins. Had a pumpkin spice latte and white chocolate mocha. And 2 Panini’s. Good service.

Located in a nice area, inside the shoppiing plaza Potomac Yards. Seats outside, convenient parking. Weekends is time i usually go, and do my work drinking my coffee. Nice. Calm. and good people and good environment.

This is located in Potomac Yards, but in less trafficked area. This causes me to opt for the Starbucks in the bookstore more often, and I’m sure it’s the same for other shoppers too. However, the secluded location suits me well when I’m there to study and not just pick up caffeine. It’s a small place with not many seats, but on a nice day there is also outdoor seating.
I’ve been told by friends that the drinks made inside the bookstore are better than here. Maybe I’m not a refined enough coffee drinker, because I don’t notice a difference.

Nice starbucks. One of the smaller ones in the area. They give good suggestions. I will be returning!

It’s too bad when the barista is too occupied talking to friends to properly make a drink. The store was not busy so there isn’t really any reason not to pay attention to the job at hand. The top inch and a half of my drink was empty. The drink tasted fine, but when you buy a drink you like to see the cup is filled.

One of the smaller Starbucks locations, this place is cozy and in the middle of all the hussle and bustle in the morning. Right off of Route 1 in potomac yard, this Starbucks is popular among commuters who take Jefferson Davis Highway into various parts of Arlington, including the Crystal City and Pentagon areas, as well as Downtown DC. I would not catagorize this as a cozy Starbucks and is more of an in and out type of place.

Quite busy all of the time but the baristas are on top of things, taking your order quickly and getting it out to you with little delay. Parking is crazy sometimes; well, truth be told, parking in the whole Potomac Yard Shopping center is crazy.

Standard Starbucks. The baristas can be hit or miss. At one time this location had several very good baristas, but I suspect that the way they are trained has changed, because overall quality of their drinks has dropped over the years from ‘very good’ to «just okay». Again, it depends on who’s there.
Also, there are usually 3 people behind the counter, so the line that always forms there makes no sense. I’ve often wait around 5 – 10 minutes to place an order of the regular brewed coffee and ended up walking out. This is easy money for Starbucks; take that order (and the money) and let the folks getting lattes and cappuccinos wait on the other side.
…Of course, I always come back…
