We had an absolutely wonderful experience here shopping for(and purchasing) an engagement ring. I knew I wanted an antique ring and I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted from a lot of online shopping. We went to a more ritzy place in DC first, and while their rings were gorgeous, they were also way out of our price range, and the selection of antique rings was pretty small. So we popped in to The Antique Guild after I looked at their website. Mara, the owner, and her staff were so warm and welcoming. They took the time to listen to me about the style I was looking for, and showed me several rings in our price range. We ended up blowing the budget just a little when Mara showed us something that was just perfect! I’m so happy that we found such a beautiful ring, but also that I have such great memories of our experience purchasing it. I highly recommend The Antique Guild and will definitely be back. (If you’re not looking for a ring, they have a beautiful and diverse selection of other antiques!)

My fiancé & I stopped by this gem of an antique store on a whim to look at wedding bands. Like the previous poster, we stopped by shortly before closing but the store owner & her mother stayed open late to help us select a ring. I found the perfect wedding band(circa 1930’s) at a great price. Some of the rings I looked at were priced as low as $ 250, though I saw some more expensive pieces as well. The owner told me she has jewelry worth over $ 1500 appraised, just in case you were wondering. Overall, great experience, great people.
