The Healing Tree

When my previous acupuncturist moved to Colorado, she suggested that I see her acupuncturist. What a great recommendation! Sarah Shupe has a good bedside manner, the atmosphere is relaxing and there’s parking.

Thx to great Unilocal reviews and a handy online scheduling system, I had a 75 min massage with Diane over the weekend. I desperately needed help with my head and neck (thanks to evil migraines) & tried to set up an appt with another facility in Del-​Ray but we couldn’t synch up after a week of trying.
So, after having some trouble finding their Commonwealth location (its located in an adjoining office to Chrysalis Chiropractic, in a brick buidling, set back from the road), I finally stumbled into the office and met Diane who immediately put me at ease, impressed me with her professional yet empathetic demeanor and focused questions regarding my migraine history.
Diane specializes in neuromuscular therapy (think lots of trigger point release) and she ranks in the top tier of practitioners for efficacy, pain improvement, relaxation, communication, and responsiveness. Over the past 10 years, I have worked closely with another massage practitioner but since he doesnt live close by anymore, I needed to find someone else. Still, I have had about 10 different practitioners over the years and Diane was fabulous.
Highly recommend the Healing Tree (and Diane). Fantastic.
