I am rejecting this response because: WFB is validating his work by providing partial truths out of context masking the substandard work performed by his carpenter and falsely asserting errors by my Architect, Gary Zickafoose, who can be reached at 703 960 5245 to counter claim. WFB’s structural and electrical County inspections initially passed but upon closer inspection failed County re-​inspection. This is a matter of public record. WFB’s shoddy work can be attested to by Craig Leech, Master Inspector County of Fairfax, (57)1 238 6320 who failed it upon re inspection citing issues in his reports. He is very familiar with the substandard work performed by WFB at my house and with my firing the previous contractor Michael Nash and Company who returned my monies after I agreed to pay for the demolition of his substandard exterior foundations ready to be failed by the County. There is no subsequent fired contractor being sued after WFB as he is asserting and mentioning DPOR. WFB is the only contractor to be sued. WFB failed to return to correct his violations upon my notifications to him. I had fired him and did not know about getting County Enforcement after him as I learned later to do with WFB’s electrical contractor, Lopez Electrical, who failed to complete the job he was contracted for and for which James Makely, Fairfax Co. Code compliance (703) 324 1300, was ready to cite him for if he did not return to finish. Adilio Lopez returned this June 2012 to finish the electrical work owed since Nov. 2011. Some of the WFB structural issues were corrected by Polcor (202) 415 4042 –replaced WFB’s incorrect header and studs from pantry to kitchen addition, had expert carpenter address drywall issues due to out of plum entire front entrance wall of main addition. Terry Dalton a career craftsmen (703) 395 2638) can attest to the out of plum front wall and for the removal of WFB’s incorrect size header and improper studs about the front kitchen addition entrance cited by Craig Leech, Fairfax County Inspector. Charlie at Condon Reed Inc (703) 534 5555 can attest to the improper HVAC supply duct location installation by WFB which his company corrected. I learned after filing my complaint against WFB with DPOR that one or more of these contractors was being investigated for failing to pull permits which I had no knowledge of. WFB is reaching for straws by defending himself with false statements out of context to the actual events that took place. It was only Lopez Electrical who was put on notice by the writer and not threatened as WFB would have you believe, to finish his work, wiring the kitchen island. He was warned by James Makely, to honor his agreement to me to finish the job I paid for on 11/​16/​2011. WFB failed to pay Lopez. WFB’s Erie Insurance Group agent, Phil Haugh (703−723−4211), realized WFB’s inconsistencies, saw the multiple damages WFB incurred to my house and was aghast by WFB’s excuses and agreed to settle only what he was allowed to under contract and advised me to contact an attorney for other damages as cited above. DPOR suggested that WFB took me for allot of money beyond the actual build cost and suggested I contact an attorney. Another builder estimated that WFB took me for $ 20 – 30 000 dollars at the time I fired him. I believe WFB has altered material facts to his insurance agent, e-​mail responses to me with regard to the overbuild of the kitchen addition roof, the names of subs who were not paid (withheld sub Bright Masonry who WFB left me holding the bag until I realized his deception and threatened a warrant of detinue, denied responsibility for flooding my basement, engineered a bait and switch cabinet event, cashing my checks and not providing the goods, kept the $ 1500 allowance I paid for the front main door, owes money he allotted to the second draft, owes refunds for the faulty thermatru addition kitchen door and kitchen window covered in the first draft credited back to WFB, etc, etc. My complaint spells out the whole event and its reality is what WFB is trying to re-​invent by being creative and distorting the facts. It is the writer’s contention and that of DPOR that the WFB invoice is suspect and DPOR did advise WFB to revise/​correct downward his mechanic’s lien on my house which WFB failed to do. The writer believes that WFB owes him 20 – 30 grand to restore him whole and that WFB must allow his billing for the work he completed to be subject to scrutiny. WFB overcharged for 2 electrical and one residential to the tune of over a grand. WFB is being inventive and will creatively say anything here. He has been disingenuous through out. No action was taken by DPOR to corrective contractors.
