We had an excellent dinner! The wait staff is great! Will definitely go back! Catch 22 has a cool nautical theme which is appropriate for its location.

We just can’t wait to come back every time! I look forward to the French onion soup, fresh bread and cherry butter, and the amazing Mac n cheese every time! I don’t ever order Mac and cheese anywhere but I always have to get it here. Great recipe. Everything is always quite delicious. A+

Food was very good. Seating was awful. Asked hostess for a booth, there was a corner one available, bit they didn’t seat us there because we were «only» a party of 3. Instead a tiny table in middle of aisle. Bumped constantly all dinner by other waitresses. Lots of tiny tables crammed together. Won’t go out of my way to eat there again.

Love how the food is made I had the hamburgers it was very juicy and make very well and I loved it! Love how they serve large groups I had a group and 8 and they were very helpful! Would definitely recommend it!!!

We were headed up river fro West harbor Lake Erie. We stayed at the Algonac harbor club and we were told the restaurant was closed there. We are now so glad it was. There was a group of 7 of us and we all had a fantastic time and the food was wonderful. We have now changed our travel schedule so we can stop back and eat at Catch 22 on our way home. The staff was so nice and I can’t say enough about the perch. I have been eating perch my whole life and that was some of the best. The garden salad was so fresh and the cod sandwich could have fed an army. Can’t wait to see you all again in a few days and see what other items you have for us to try!

A hidden gem in the Lake St. Clair area! The perch, Cobb salad, walleye, and chicken sandwich were amazing and the portions were huge. Great people as well, rounding out the 5 stars that they definitely deserve.

this is the BEST restaurant around, im so glad that it opened in this location, i live in new baltiimore and there isn’t a restuarant around that even comes close to this one, I have never had a bad meal here, food is wonderful and the owners are the best!!!~!!!

I’ve been here honestly 4 – 5 times trying everything from hamburgers, steak, salmon, and Alfredo and never once have I liked anything they have made me. The only things I’ve enjoyed from this restaurant are the appetizers. I will be giving this place a two star review because the service is always slow and the food is over priced for what you get. If you do try this place go for the spicy shrimp appetizer or the flaming cheese.

I don’t know why all restaurants don’t serve grouper. But Catch 22 serves grouper. And it’s great.
So if you love grouper like I love grouper, put Catch 22 on your list.

It’s a reasonable restaurant and its food satisfactory. It isn’t great but it’s the best you’ll find in Algonac. This is a place for the boat people in the summer and for people living by the river in the winter.

They totally have the best pan fried perch anywhere, a great atmosphere, but a little pricey, average meal 15.00 but worth it-​steaks and seafood a little more. But drink first at home esp. if you drink beer!

Took my in-​laws and my family out for dinner. Entrees were very good! I had salmon, my wife and MIL got walleye, my son had a kids’ meal, and we added on frog legs and perch for my daughter (plus sharing). Salmon a touch «fishy» but salsa and rub were excellent. Red-​skins OK. Walleye was good, as was shrimp. Best food hands-​down was the perch! Kids meal was average, frog legs, too. Salads were good, drinks reasonable, atmosphere more casual than I would expect for the food quality.

Wow! A very underrated Restaurant! My family decide to try something new! We get the usual Artichoke Dip and Calamari. My Goodness the Artichoke was the best that I’ve tasted in a while! The cheese was hot and fresh, and the bread was delicious, with or without the dip! And then we got our Cesar salad, which that taste exactly how it should! And then there’s an Entrée, the Steak was made how I liked it, and the Potato was fresh and scrumptious! Overall, a great experience at Catch 22!

I’d give this one or two stars if it were in town. But considering the location it was ok. And power was out in the area so they were jammed with people. Staff did a great job taking care of the crowd. I got the impression the owners add Greek seasoning to stuff just about everything. The Onion soup was ok but had a weird flavor/​spice added to it (Greek?). Mac-​n-​cheese I sent back it was I edible. Ribs we’re fall off the bone tender but had a par-​boiled taste. Why three stars? The other folks I was with seamed to enjoy their food more than I did. They had grilled salmon and grilled Cod.

We’ve always heard such good things about catch 22, so we decide to find out for ourselves. We had a really nice experience while we were there. The food was amazing with a relaxing atmosphere and the wait staff was very attentive. I had the Prime rib which was cooked to my liking, with a roasted potatoe, and a side salad. I was very impressed that they make their salad dressing in house, Yummy. It going to be our new Sunday dinning place.
