Colony Motel

We stayed at the colony Motel from HELL on September 26, 2014.
I cannot recommend this place it’s below standards, it was filthy cobwebs in the corners stains on the carpet, sheets dark blue so you weren’t able to tell if they were clean did not smell clean; blankets and bedspreads smelled old dirty musty, I don’t think they were washed, towels were rough washcloths were stained had to go through a few before I found clean ones, if not for the circumstances of arriving there late, and not able to find another place, Would not have stayed. Pictures on the website are very deceiving are old photos, Furniture is old, mattress was hard, No screen door on sliding door missing pieces on the miniblinds, and they were filthy, and they tell you they have Wi-​Fi, but you have to go out of the room to get hooked up to Wi-​Fi by the time you get back in the room you only have it for five minutes, and then you lose connection. Then you have to go out again to reconnect. They only take cash, and I know why because you have no recourse after you’ve paid for the room. This place is the type of motel that is rented out by the hour and locals rent out by the week. In my opinion this place needs to be shut down and totally renovated, and the Board of Health should be contacted!!!
