Amazing, incredible, are just a few words to describe Blue Moon Events! Jenny and Jeff make an outstanding team! We wanted to plan our son & daughter-in-law’s wedding & reception ourselves but found the process overwhelming & time consuming. We hired Blue Moon Events for the «day of the wedding» events and are so glad we did.
Jenny immediately stepped in and developed a blueprint for each event with specific details & timing. She had creative ideas on how to simplify, manage and enhance their wedding day — from organizing the bridal party’s hair & makeup, getting everyone to the church on time, coordinating the ceremony, & managing the reception venue. Jenny & Jeff were onsite from early morning until late at night managing the events!
As with any event, there were a few «glitches» — they discretely & effectively resolved each issue. All of their pre-​planning and «day of the wedding» coordination allowed us to truly treasure our special day! We highly recommend Blue Moon Events and will definitely hire them for our next event!

Jenny was a HUGE help at our wedding. We had a non-​traditional ceremony that a friend of ours officiated. None of us knew what we were doing and Jenny did a great job of organizing us and making things happen at the last minute. She was calm, organized, and enthusiastic about the big day. Jenny has a great sense of humor and is a joy to be around especially when events get stressful. Her husband was great the day of as well. My partner and I don’t live in Chicago so finding a venue was tough from afar. Jenny gathered lots of information on the venues for us and also visited sites with us when we came to visit. I would recommend Blue Moon Events to anyone who has something big they are planning and could benefit from professional help.

Jenny is the cat’s meow. She and her husband were godsends on our wedding day and in the stressful weeks leading up to it. We hired them as day-​of-​coordinators, but they went above and beyond! Typically when you hire a day-​of-​coordinator, you get a limited number of hours of service. Not so with Jenny. She was there all day (and night) to help make our wedding day seamless and smooth sailing – from helping set up and tear down our reception to jumping in when things did not go as expected. We met with her in person and she was available by email and phone leading up to our wedding as well to troubleshoot any issues. She was there to handle it all! I realized just 2 hours before our ceremony that I had forgotten my earrings at my apartment. Without hesitating, Jenny’s husband came to the hotel where I was getting ready to grab my keys and retrieve the earrings from my apartment. We were so impressed with the level of care and professionalism Jenny had in helping us prepare the timeline for the big day, and carried it out to the T. Blue Moon Events was also the least expensive of the day-​of-​coordinators we considered. We would hire them again in a heartbeat! Thank you, Jenny and co!
