I finally decided to quit smoking and after several failed attempts with those cheap e-​cigs from the gas station, my «former-​smoker» friends recommened going into an actual vape shop and talking to somebody. So like anybody who knows what they’re doing, I wipped out my trusty Unilocal app and started researching. Thanks to the many reviewers before me, this place caught my eye as somewhere that would be welcoming to a newbie. I entered this shop like a post-​prom date in for a VD screening and sheepishly announced that I wanted to quit smoking and had no idea about vaping. The salesperson took pitty on my poor soul and started educating me. He showed me two different models one low grade and one mid grade. He let me try out both and skillfully ignored my clumsiness and coughing. I knew i wanted more than a basic unit because i would be more likely to stick with it. The sales dude addressed my concerns and told me how others were successful at weening off cancer sticks. We played around with some flavors and after giving feed back on what i was tasting, I found it. Let me tell you future vapers, the heavens opened up and virgin angels spit directly into my mouth! As the guy rang me up he went over all the parts of the unit, how to fill it, and how to operate it. He said he wanted to follow up with me in one week when my filter needed to be changed and see how I was coming along. Who the f does that anymore? I shook his hand and asked his name. It was Ram. Shocked I told him he was the one everybody mentioned on Unilocal.Weird. Will i return? Absolutely!

If you are looking for a no pressure knowledgable staff this is the place to be. I am very happy to have found this shop after I had to abandon my old go to shop. The selection is very good with shop made juice and a good selection of main stream juice.

Great shop and the staff is top shelf. Lots of variety from beginner to more advanced. Never had an issue here.

I’ve been vaping for the better part of 2 years now– but surprisingly, have never visited an actual «brick & mortar», as it’s called. So far, I’ve been purchasing ALL my vape gear, as well as e-​liquids (the number of which, I wouldn’t even want to count… OR admit to! $$$ LOL) on-​line only. Being quite unsatisfied with that (& them!), realizing a branch of Cigtechs had opened up close by… I had been wanting to go check them out for some time now. Hoping to actually get to try some e-​liquids, before just purchasing more I wouldn’t end up liking… finally took the trip over. That being said, it was a Friday evening that I went over to Cigtechs. A couple people were inside, yet I was immediately greeted/​welcomed by their employee– «TIM». Just finishing up with his customer as I walked over to the display… he was super friendly & helpful overall. Asked me what flavor (s) I usually liked… was there anything specific I didn’t… as well as what type of device/​atomizer/​clearo I used, etc. He then proceeded to show me several of the «house favorites» of Scotty & Ripple branded juices… as well as a few other premium liquids by brands like, TimeBomb & Taste, etc. Considering Cigtechs offers SO many different choices of e-​liquid…& there are SO many different ones I wanted to try… before I knew it, realized it’s close to closing time. As I began to wrap it up… Tim would have NO such thing! He insisted we stay & keep on trying as long as we wanted! How’s THAT for customer service?! I tried not to impose too long– & by maybe 9:15 — 9:20, had picked out a few really good ones I wanted to purchase. Ended up buying those, as well as a couple replacement tanks I needed (& now didn’t have to wait for to be delivered!) Keeping in mind I’ve done my research & am an experienced vaper… I could hear Tim dealing with other customers while I was trying e-​liquids… & I’d definitely say he’s a very knowledgeable employee who could/​would lead any customer &/​or new vaper… in the right direction! Nothing pushy. no arrogance… just an overall helpful, relaxing environment! So, thanks again, Tim… for all of your help AND for staying late for us! Stellar customer service. Well done, Cigtechs, well done! Will definitely be back …& soon! =) Live longER & vape on!

Great service, reasonable prices. Staff was very helpful, and pleasant. I had a few questions regarding what brands to purchase. The sales associate was very knowledgeable in helping me find exactly what I wanted. 5 stars all the way!

Last summer I switched over to an electronic cigarette, in particular the Volcano brand because I was referred by a friend. Since then I’ve been driving my silly self all the way to Schaumburg from Crystal Lake every time I needed to buy e-​juice and let’s face it: what I was saving not buying cigarettes I was making up for in gas! Thanks to Unilocal I found Cigtechs; which in comparison to Woodfield Mall is just a hop, skip and a jump away.
Unlike the Volcano kiosk in Woodfield Mall (surrounded by lots of noise and people running into you as you try to look at wares with a very pushy salesperson breathing down your neck) Cigtechs had a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with couches for lounging on and even the other patrons were very laid-​back and talkative. Everything was lined up in an orderly and easy to peruse fashion on the walls and in crystal clear glass cases with nicer brands and spotlight products eye-​catchingly displayed. Their selection of flavors is enormous!
The man behind the counter was named Ram and he was very nice and helpful. He let me take my time without rushing me as I tried all the different flavors and immediately answered any questions I had about what flavors I was tasting in fluids labeled things like «cosmic». When I had finally settled on a flavor I liked (YOLO by Drake’s Vapes, which is a wonderfully tart and subtle combo of lemonade and lavender which is simultaneously zingy and soothing despite the obnoxious name) Ram made his very respectful sales push explaining that citrus flavors (not just cinnamon, which I had known before) eat away at plastic tanks and showed me some nice glass tanks after seeing how my Volcano Lavatube tank fit into the actual vaporizer.
I was sold, and he had me checked out in a snap before he showed me how to set up and fill my new tank, as the silicone filters were new to me (so SO much better than the cotton ones I was using before). All in all I think it was a very satisfying visit and I’ll definitely come back again! Kudos to Cigtechs for doing everything right!

Wow !!! I am a rookie when it comes to vaping ! Went into the store and was helped by a nice guy who had every answer to every question I had ! Sold me exactly what would work for me ! Never tried to sell me products I didn’t need. ! Honest place and I would definitely be back. !!! The gentlemen said if u have a question stop in or call ! Great customer service. Thanks CIGTECHS !

I went in because my wife and I are quitting smoking. The salesman I talked to was Ram. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable for a rookie like me. Prices seemed right, great service, great place!

Love how much space there is. Great environment! They have a vast knowledge on sub ohms and rebuildables. Great customer service. Overall a excellent experience at the store.
