I’ve been going to Hairsmith for the past year, and it’s been nothing but excellent. Normally I get either Mac or Jim, but today I got a lady named Denise, who gave me one of the better haircuts I’ve ever had, very detailed, friendly and professional. If your hair is receding like mine, you wont be disappointed when you go home with it virtually unnoticeable, highly recommended. Also, I rated Hairsmith as inexpensive, only because for 15 dollars you are getting the same thing you would get at a 30 dollar haircut place, it’s a classic barber shop feel, and it’s also cool they have lotto.

I’ve been coming here since I found it years ago. Mac, Jim and the crew are always fast and friendly. The barber shop is tucked away behind some other shops, no so easy to find for a first timer. Worth looking for. Great décor, friendly banter and solid haircut for fifteen bucks.

Sign says open? Neon light flashing«no wait?» Door reads open til 6 on a Thursday? They’re probably closed anyway. In fact they’re probably closed, hear you try to open the door, stare right at you, make no move to come to the door(even though they should be open) and continue talking to another staff member. Two times the woman made eye contact this evening, and didn’t budge one inch to come to the door. She just kept talking to another staff member. As we walked away she took another look and shut all the lights out. Could she have opened the door and let us in? Sure. Could she have opened the door and said, «Sorry, we decided to close early but WANTEDTOACKNOWLEDGEYOU?» Absolutely. Rude. This is the third time I have showed up with my son to find them closed before their posted times. Never going here again. I refuse to give money to a business that cares so little for their customers.

I always leave happy. Not in a «Remember the Zohan» way, but I don’t get the day-after hair cut blues. Conversation is great. I’m always remembered and each cut comes with a great 60-second shoulder massage. For everyone, not just me. :)
