Leon Nails

Only reason I gave them two stars is bc my nails did turn out decent. The problem with this nail salon tho is that for one it is stupidly expensive. I had to pay $ 3 extra bucks for my hands and $ 3 for my feet for the nail polish color. Hum what? Shouldn’t the polish be a part of a pedicure or a manicure. Guess not. The other major problem I had was they had a young girl start on my pedicure. I don’t believe she knows what she is doing bc she had to keep asking questions to the guy next to her. A different person stepped in a little over half way through the pedi and finished it. While still in the pedi chair they started my manicure. My nails have been growing out for a few months now and she shortens all the them even tho I told her to just even then a little. I just felt rushed and not welcome in their nail salon. Their was an older women next to me and they did both her mani and pedi while sitting in the pedi chair. Like way to make her feel like she is getting pampered. I don’t recommend this place at all there are better places out there to go to.
Quick update by Monday I had to re paint all my nails bc they had chips. Such a rip off I changed it to one star bc it is deff not worth the price

Oh so relaxing! This place is a gem. It is very clean and the owner is just lovely and kind. I had the deluxe pedicure which was heavenly. They were very gentle and thorough. Highly recommend.

They were great the first few times I went, but they never listened to me that I was hard on my nails and needed them thicker… once they insisted they were fine and I had one break off 6 days later… I went in to get them fixed and they made me pay… the last few times I went I requested Leon since he was my favorite technician, I think he recently developed a drinking problem and even my 7 year old daughter said he smelled like alcohol. Glad I wasn’t imagining it… he was either too hungover to see or just didn’t care how my nails look. I was very disappointed at how they looked. totally sloppy… and the next time I went in the owner lady treated me like I was such a bad person… I was so embarrassed… no one deserves to be treated the way I was treated… all because the one thing I ask for is my nails to be thicker… and because of that they made sure to give me the worst nail job possible. I will never return again, I will give my business to Nails Paradise in Huntley where they do a amazing job!

Love this salon. Everyone is very nice. It’s very clean and relaxing atmosphere. They take their time. I always walk out satisfied with my experience.

Leon nails was fantastic. If you are coming to a nail salon to not get one on one treatment then don’t come here. Leon Nails takes there time and is gentle and caring about the work they are doing for you. I know that they are a new salon so of course all their things are going to look nice but they take care of you and their things. For local teachers they give 10% discount.
