We had a great experience with Dr. Romanelli and his staff. From the very start, Kathy, the receptionist was incredibly welcoming and helpful and even called a few days in advance to confirm my appointment. Diane, the hygienist was very thorough, informative, and friendly. I felt at ease and appreciated how warm and inviting everyone was at the office. Dr. Romanelli does a great job and is a funny guy. Definitely makes a trip to the dentist more enjoyable. A great place to go for your dental work!

The dentist is fantastic and he is a funny guy, Dr. Romanelli is hilarious and puts you at ease when you go to your appointment. He is no-nonsense but at the same time, he is very interested in you as a person and not just your teeth! My gripe with the place is it’s only open 3 days a week, the secretary is very kind but she doesn’t know how to setup appointments. I live in the city and I can’t come to the office whenever they have open appointments. She set me up an appointment that worked great but it turned out the doctor wasn’t going to be in – shouldn’t a secretary know that type of information? So she set me up an appointment for a later date(I need a filling by the way, so this is important). Turns out that later date, I could no longer do. I gave her more than a month’s notice but she said they were booked on weekends for months ahead of time… Well, then how could I get that rescheduled Saturday appointment? I told her I had a day off on a Friday in June, she said they aren’t open on Fridays. I believed her and today I check the website to see it is by appointment… so they CAN be open, but she flat out told me they are never available on Fridays. I can’t make my appointment because my train won’t even come into the suburbs until 9:32am and my appointment is at 9:20. I called and left a voicemail, it was a little snarky but honestly, the secretary is not working with me for a time that works out for both the dentist and I. My filling is important and I work 5 days a week, even if I get out of work early, I can’t make afternoon appointments unless I have the day off. Mornings are out because I am at work by 7am. I hope I have luck this week to get it rescheduled, I have to resort to requesting a day off but this all could have been avoided if she had set me up an appointment when the doctor was actually IN the office. Yes my schedule changed too, but I was trying to give her days I am available and she shot them all down, basically said I have to come in for an afternoon appointment during the week or deal with not having a filling until the fall. She was not accommodating and lied about the Fridays they are occasionally open for people with appointments.
