I find this place to be two things and two things only. Shallow and pedantic. The address they give is wrong. It’s really off third and main. Aside from that. I tried to order two different things and they didnt even have it in stock. Not only that but the football game on tv had extremely poor reception. This place is ok if you have absolutely no choice and have nowhere else to go. Id suggest just going to guppys tea house in cerritos. It might be far from LA but definitely worth the drive! :)

Pros: None. Cons: Horrible milk tea. They use coffee mate for their milk. I can taste it. The Jasmine tea didn’t have a trace of tea flavor to it. That’s it.

Finally done remodeling. Wifi. junkie place, plugs, tea, watermelon juice. And big screen to play games, karoke system, not crowded YET. $ 3.75 for every drink. Drinks are okay. Booth seats with plugs in the back, free wifi and a okay place to wifi or study up. High school student joint so guess gotta expect some youngster rowdyness.

It was hot as hell today and I was looking for an air-conditioned café where I could get some work done.(My house has no AC.) I stumbled upon the 101 tea lounge and as soon as we walked in the server asked us if we wanted our drinks for here or to go. Quick service! We also came in during their happy hour when their drinks are cheaper(4pm-5pm). I had the taro slush with boba and was in heaven. My drink was perfect– not too sweet and not too thick. Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed, so I didn’t get to try any of the food. :(The décor, however is adorable. There are lots of tables and booths to sit at and the ambiance is very nice. The bathrooms are super clean and the server was very attentive. I will definitely come back again to try their food items. :)

So I came back here today and decided to write another review for this place(: I came at 12am and the sign on the door said ‘CLOSED’ but they let me and my friend in anyway and said that we could still order drinks but the kitchen already closed at 10. It was nice of them to let us in because i know some places close promptly at a certain time or even earlier and don’t allow customers to go in. I ordered a strawberry green tea which can’t be found on the menu that they have but i heard about the drink from their facebook page so i decided to give it a try and turns out, i made the right choice(: really yummy~ As i left the place and drove about halfway home i realized that i had left my purse on one of the sofas xP When i got back to tea lounge the manager had kept my purse safe and awaited my return: D This wasn’t the first time that i had left something there either… I think maybe the 3rd time I went to tea lounge i had also left a bag with a camera inside and yet again the manager kept it safe and returned it to me ^-^ They also have some new specials going on now like order a drink and appetizer for a free hong kong waffle and some others as well but I forgot to take a picture. The specials and secret menu items are updated on their facebook page so if your curious you can check it out there(:

Absolutely delicious Chicken Wings. Waitress was friendly and greeted us; environment was relaxing and truly enjoys having our evening snack there. They serve Taiwanese Shaved Snow provided by New York Snow it was unique, tasty, and delicious. I would recommend having the shaved snow there. Taro Snow was my favorite.

Came here about two weeks ago because I was bored with the usual tea places. I hate the parking here… We parked on the street nearby because it seemed the safest. The decoration was really off… In a way it made me feel a little bit uncomfortable. Service was really really really really REALLY slow. I understand though. It was just one person making the drinks, taking order, doing everything pretty much. Surprisingly I really liked my green apple green tea. It might be too watered down for some people, but I like my tea less sweetened. I like how this place is really chill. No one is rushing you out like muse. It’s not packed like ftb. Their drinks are actually a little bit more expensive than ten RENs. I was just annoyed with the people sitting near me playing their games. –____– other else than that, it was okay.

odd opening hours. at 2pm. I like the 101 milk tea, milk tea never fails. :D if you purchase 2 drinks you get a free takoyaki. Now service, wasnt the best. but it was still okay. even though my friend and I were the only one there. They weren’t really attentive, which was fine, not really complaining about it. They were mostly sitting down and socializing amongst themselves. I felt that because they were socializing amongst themselves, it was bothersome to ask them for napkins and the wifi password, or just simple yet annoying questions about the menu… :/ I think I will come back again, the AC is put on full blast. so it is a nice place to be when it is too hot outside. :D

WHOOOOOOCAMEBACKTO626AREAALLTHEWAYFROMSACRAMENTO, 8HOURDRIVE, JUSTFORTHERAINBOWSLUSHCHALLENGE!!! FIRSTGIRLTOATTEMPTANDFINISHINABOUT10MINUTES!!! :D Warning: you will be shivering and shaking for about 15 minutes after the challenge. The slush varies with whoever is making it, but mine consisted of: four to five different slushes, one layer of jelly, one layer of boba, fruits on top, three Popsicles, one mochi like ice cream(which tasted super gross if I may add with a hint of a bitter after taste). The slush was in a vase like cup, wait no, i cannot classify that as a cup… But it was in a big vase a little higher than two iphones and soooo sooo wide.(pictures will be uploaded) To be honest, I cant tell you how it tastes. My mouth grew intensely numb after forcefully stuffing and swallowing 40+ bites of it. However, the first few sips were decent! It was flavorful and nicely paired with the jelly. I didnt get to have their other drinks so I can’t really judge. The three stars were solely on the rainbow slush. Staff was friendly, even though they all doubted my ability to finish LOL. just kidding. but they were nice. Hopefully, I get to come back and try their other drinks. It was difficult for me to find the place because I the address didnt work when I entered it in my GPS. But it was across the super A market and it was a brownish building at the corner. The interior was not fully decorated. It just opened so I know they are still decorating and such. Hopefully the next time i’m back from NorCal they would be finished with décor.

Location/Accessibility: Downtown Alhambra, across from Super A Store Ambiance: Indoor seating, limited lighting, unpleasant décor(looked like a hot mess. poorly wrapped«carbon fiber» wrapped tables). Parking: street Dress Code: casual Menu options: Teas, snacks, small meals, shaved snow Ordered: — Fried Squid Balls — Popcorn chicken(under cooked!!! chicken meat tasted really weird!!) — Sweet Potato Fries(under cooked!) Service: The waitresses did not appear friendly, nor were they very attentive. When you ask for anything, it seems like your being a burden Price: On avg $ 5/pp Overall experience: I’m not a fan of this place. I usually like to give places a second try, but I’d rather save my money. Food: 1⁄5 stars Service: 0.5÷5 stars Venue: 1⁄5 stars

First time being here but the décor felt like a mess to me to be honest. A bunch of Ikea and Target products and a few carbon fiber-wrapped tables, It was all over the place. There’s a PS3 and what i believe to think was a karaōke machine and 2 flatscreens for entertainment. They shouldn’t play music off someone’s Iphone, that was embarrassing when a call was going through. As far as the menu goes, it is pretty short and simple so that’s good, less things to worry about. I couldn’t decide on what to get so I went with my default drink of Mango Slush, it was decent, no wow factor to it, sort of like any other boba shop. Only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because i’m being nice. Its my first time here so anything the review will change. Also at the fact that my drink was okay, the décor of the place was not flowing for me. Also they should come up with something about smoking near the door. It doesn’t bother me but this place is located near a high school so I’m pretty sure it attracts a lot of them there, we don’t need a bunch of teens dying from second-hand smoking coming through the door, if anything have a designated spot for the smokers so they don’t bother customers.

TEA of the MOMENT: Jasmine Milk Tea(ICED) A nice light milk tea, mostly tasting the light of jasmine. I would have to say this place makes a mighty bad ass milk tea, without all the sugar. I do like that I can taste the jasmine and not a lot of sugar. – I have a BUNCH of SF reviews left, but I decided that I needed to jump the gun while I can about 101. I just got off a flight from SF and got really hungry. As I couldn’t find parking for Honey Badger, I decided to go into 101 Bakery and Café, since I have never been there, and at this point in time, I would want to eat anything. Little did I know, 101 Bakery and Café changed into 101 Tea Lounge. Now, I never have been into 101 Bakery & Café, so I can’t stay much as to how the place was to how it is now. The décor is a mix of retro Space Invaders decals, plus some random Target and IKEA décor that kind of don’t blend well together. Maybe they were going for a «neon» bright trend, but to me, it seemed kind of mix-‘n-match. I did noticed the small sign that said«soft opening» and wasn’t sure when the soft opening started. Only a few people were in the«lounge», one person studying and a group of kids playing some cards games. Taking a glance at the menu, I opted for the jasmine milk tea and the popcorn chicken. The server was helping out another customer and I decided to wander around a bit, noticing New York Snow, the Taiwanese pencil shaved ice that you can only find from Class 302. I did see a place that was called New York Snow on Unilocal New Business, but didn’t bother to look at the location.(The New York Snow cost $ 7.50, and there were about seven different selections to choose from.) To wrap this up, the service was okay, considering it was a soft opening. I only noticed two people working, one in the front and one in the back kitchen. The chicken wasn’t the best chicken I had, the chicken meat tasted a bit off, maybe because it wasn’t cooked properly or they didn’t crisp it enough, but something wasn’t right, and the seasoning weren’t there. I did ask for a medium spicy, but I felt like there wasn’t any spicy on it. I would like to give this place another chance, because it is a «soft opening» and it looked like it just opened today(June 27th). I overheard one of the servers say that they are planning to expand on their menu in the near future, but as of now, there are a few things that they can improve on, considering there are other tea places in the area that can and will give them a run for their money.
