I used to shop here years ago, have since switched to Ralph’s since it’s closer to my home. Dropped by this location today since I happened to be at the PetSmart next door and needed to grab some stuff. Wow, how times have changed. First off, the selection sucks. For example, at Ralph’s you have a huge variety of canned fruit(canned in heavy syrup, light syrup, 100% juice). Here you have about ¼th of the selection, and almost all of it is canned in heavy syrup, no other options. Hope you like all that added sugar! Second, the store as a whole seems to lack any generic brands, meaning you end up paying more for brand name items because that’s all they seem to carry. Third, the prices. Oh, the PRICES. For two bags of groceries I ended up paying about $ 60DOLLARS. I know for a fact had I bought the same stuff at Ralph’s I wouldn’t have paid more than $ 30 – 40. And I wasn’t buying anything fancy either. Frozen green beans, soy milk, some grapes. And most shocking of all, when I tried to enter in my phone number at the cash register, I was told by the cashier that you don’t need to enter your phone number anymore because«the savings are automatic.» In other words, we don’t have a club card anymore so you’re gonna have to pay full price. Do yourself a favor, drive about 5 – 10 minutes north of this location and check out the Ralph’s on Huntington, the selection and prices are a million times better.

My go-to place for non-Asian things. As always, there will be good and bad employees. On some occasions, I did not like how one or two employees act towards me. Not sure if they just had a bad day or discriminating against some customers.

This is the worst STORE that I have ever been to in my 30 years of shopping. I stopped coming here more than 10 years ago because the staff was horrible. That hasn’t changed a bit! I didn’t see any familiar faces working there. So that brings me to believe that it’s the management that’s doing such a poor job of staffing and training their employees. I know of many Albertsons stores that have closed and I’m surprised this one remains open. This is the closest store to my house, but I will continue to go elsewhere until this store closes also. No more expired food that they refuse to take back unless you jump through several hoops. No more very poor customer service. No more rude, incompetent and inconsiderate employees. No more Alhambra albertsons!

Always nice people here, they always ask if I need help, prices are right. Wish they had more meet to choose from. But it is great. Can’t complain.

Very lazy crew on duty today. The only two workers in the produce department were too busy gossiping to do their work. They were out of bean dip platters, so I had to interrupt their gossiping and they told me to come back tomorrow. It was only 10AM, they shouldn’t already be out of deli items. So I complained to the manager, a Mr. Salinas. Seems like he didn’t have a clue as to what was going on in his own store. Very poor management skills.

This location if one of the last location left. Albertsons closed many locations recently and I can’t think of another location that is still opened except the Alhambra location. I have been coming here for many years and always find exactly what I need. Albertson prices are very reasonable and I would rather shop here than Ralphs. I am very blessed there the Alhambra location is still open. This is a busy location and the staff does a great job in helping everyone. All the check out lines were opened. And if the lines are long, you have an option to check yourself out through the self check out line. The meat and seafood department served really fresh meat and the butcher is very friendly and are very helpful with recommendations. I will continue to come here and hope they will always stay open. Food is fresh, staff is friendly, and the prices are so reasonable! Parking is ample and there is also a recycling center in the parking lot.

I ONLY go here because it’s close to my job… but otherwise the prices are high and most of the time when I go to buy fruits or veggies, they have mold on a lot of them or they should be thrown out… Fruit expires faster and or molds if it’s kept in a fridge and then sat out… I guess they don’t know that… Yuck

Stop by with a friend to get some fruits and coffee creamer. Place is clean and staff is helpful but I wanted to laugh since my cashier Rudy was trying to sound like a expert on the Laker Franchise hiring process. By the way I was wearing my 2010 Laker shirt, young kid that wanted to strike up a conversation, I just wanted to pay and head home. By the way, fruit was awesome!

Bottom line, this place is overpriced and I avoid this place when I can. I will come here if I am in a rush and I need something specific and I need it to be all in one place. The thing is, I know I will pay more here than other places. This is NOT a college kid’s best friend. Frozen food like veggies are overpriced and healthy options here cost more.
