Alhambra Inn Best Western

I stayed for a night with a few friends. It’s not the best hotel I’ve stayed at, but it has the necessities. The room was pretty run down and smelled like smoke, even though it was a non smoking room. The staff was pretty nice. There was nothing that I loved about this hotel. They offer a complimentary breakfast, but I didn’t make it down there to check out the spread.

We are truly disappointed in our stay. We paid a lot of money for what we got. The room smells of tobacco and we found three roaches on the night stand and one on the toilet seat cover. We will never come back again. I only regret not reading the reviews before booking!

Would not recommend. Friend of mine stayed here, walked up stairs, open door and was greeted by a room that had an unmade bed, clothes scattered all over and empty food packages on the floor. Said he was given another room that was not much better. This one, although made, had blood on the towels and a strange odor inside the room. Friend has had to dispute charge with credit company as he left after 5 hours.

They don’t offer hot water at bathroom and their answers were so funny that a normal person may feel hard to believe… Ending up with no bath for the whole day. Poor service as well.

This Place was full of shady people but now I am glad to say it is CLOSED until further notice.

Do not waste your time, go some where else, I stayed here for one night and it was a nightmare. weird shady people working there, my room was a mess and smelled bad. so I switched rooms, the room they switched me to had a bed that was as hard as a rock, and it was also smelly and dirty. it was weird that their was probaly only a handful of people staying at this hotel this night and their are plenty of rooms but they had to put me by two weird women who were next door partying until 2 am. by this time I went down to talk with the manager but the elevator was not working so i had to find the staircase and this weirdo guy was working the front desk and said the manager would be there in the morn so i had him move me again. I got some sleep woke up and went to see the manager. The manager this Little old asian guy came out and I explained everything that is horribly wrong about his hotel. He argued with me for about 15 mins and than gave me half my money back. He was a incompetent moron. I left and will try to erase my stay at the alhambra inn from my memory! Stay away. This place needs to be knocked down

I have stayed here and its a great hotel/​inn. The staff are friendly and Angie who works at the front desk from 6am-​2pm is cool. She runs the inn basically. She smokes pot and tweeks a little. She can even help you get a lower rate. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Stayed here for 1 night, close to everything alhambra has to offer. Clean and no frills hotel with friendly staff. Would stay here again.

I recently drove by while visiting my friends, and this place has gotten worse. believe it or not.
They have mounds of trash piled by the dumpster, along the wall, and in the parking lot. I would understand if it were in trash bags… but this is scraps, old papers and boxes, and food trash strewn about.
There were shady characters squatting in the parking lot just loitering. Any business from individuals who neglected to read this review, would have been driven away none the less…
I saw only one car in its parking lot — which probably belonged to the hotel clerk.
Best Western needs to reclaim its name and tear this place down. Either that or a total overhaul and sanitize it from top to bottom.
But even if they did so, I will never go back.
