Not too shabby in my opinion. Hard to find since you cant really see it from the street. It’s between the 168 market and CVS pharmacy with a gigantic parking lot in front. Also, it’s across the street from 101 Noodle Express. Smallish store but that’s typical for these places. You can definitely set up a study session or hangout here. Free wifi and AC. Drinks come in one size and it’s cash only. Thought my drink was good. Nothing remarkable, but nothing bad about it. Drinks will run you about 3.50 or so with toppings at 40 cents a pop. Overall, not a bad choice but there’s better places in the area.

Came here for drinks randomly on the way home. My boyfriend got the almond milk tea, half sugar and I got a rose milk tea, half sugar. His drink was delicious! My drink was interesting, because I barely tasted the Rose. I asked for more syrup or something and maybe their recipe is mostly syrup… but then it was very rose-y afterwards but left that too sweet taste in my mouth. So much for half sugar then too much. It did taste like rose compared to other places. but the aftertaste was more sugary than other places. Oh well. Also there is only 1 person manning the cash register. The person is in the back and I guess somehow they see or hear when someone approaches the register and then the person comes out. Afterwards the person then makes the drinks. Décor seems kinda old. but I guess it’s not a bad study spot. It’s quiet and has AC.

This place is my friend’s favorite go to place for boba. For me, I’m indifferent about this place. I usually order their winter melon milk tea with boba and it was good. They accept cash only and I feel like they always have only one person working. The service is going to be super slow if a line forms. But most of the time my friend and I went during odd hours so we didn’t have to wait long for out drinks. This place is actually one of the better boba places in the 626 area.

I ordered one drink, honey green milk tea, and that was enough for me to give this place a one star. THEYDON’T USEREALMILK. That right there either makes or breaks it for me at a boba place. You curious to know how the fudge I would even know if they use real milk or not? I’ve worked at two boba places, one is the parent company for a couple of popular teahouses in the area. The first place I worked at used half and half but the second place did not! I was mortified to find out they mixed Coffeemate powder with water to create the«milk» used in their drinks. Ladybug Tea House is one of those places. You can tell if you see the cup have this white/yellow foam on top of the tea. As you continue to drink you tea, the white/yellow foam will usually end up sticking on the top insides of your cup. Besides not using milk or half and half, the honey used in my drink was not sweet and had no honey taste at all. No real milk and bland honey?! This double whammy was enough for me. My honey green milk tea couldn’t have been butchered anymore. I won’t even bother to come back here to try anything else. On a more positive note, it’s a nice place to study. The music isn’t too loud and there are a few tables in the front and some more along the side. They also only have one size for drinks, LARGE. I know you like it.

This is a great little place tucked away in a strip mall(the 168 store) on the corner of Valley and New. I’ve had the almond milk with boba and my daughter has had the peach ice drink. The drinks are great. I always get mine half sweet. I made the mistake of getting it full on sweet and almost went into a sugar coma. The boba is spot on good. Just the right amount of chewiness and sweetness. The drinks are fairly cheap, which is always good. Cash only. They have a frequent customer awards program. Ten drinks, get a free one. It’s not the most well decorated of places. Certainly not like Appetea in Alhambra or honey boba in Monterey Park. But it’s not horrible. Everyone who works here is really really nice. My only qualm with the place, and my daughter feels the same way, is they don’t put a lot of boba in the drinks. I always finish my boba before I finish my drink and everywhere else I’ve been its been the opposite. No food but if you’re hungry you can swing by the 168 market. There’s also a CVS in the strip mall.

I love their milk tea here! I always ask for less sweet every tea places I go to and this place is by far the only place that’s made it perfectly the way I like it. My friend tried their Oreo shake and it was also really good. I’m sure you can’t go wrong with any drinks here.

CASHONLY! I came on a Saturday afternoon and Ladybug was pretty empty except for one other table. I can imagine this would be a great little study hall. A little overpriced, I’m not too impressed by the fact that milk tea with boba comes to almost $ 5(although it is in a slightly larger size). They have honey boba! I think the most disappointing part is that Ladybug Tea house doesn’t really do any tea or other drinks than boba. Just a heads up!

Came here for a drink. The drinks were just ok. I didn’t think it was spectacular and I usually grade the place based on their boba. It tasted like it had been sitting out for awhile. I’m not too sure I will be back here since the price was on the high side, service was on the slow side, and the taste was on the a-ok side.

I hate myself for not reading Unilocal before coming here. My boyfriend and I only had $ 5 cash, so we had to share a drink. –__– So make sure you bring CASH if you don’t wanna end up sharing. Anyways, we ordered a strawberry green tea because it’s his favorite. It was okay. Really sweet and bland. Pro: — Friendly staff — Affordable — Plenty of parking(in CVS plaza) — WiFi Cons: — Cash only — The interior is really dark. It has an emo vibe to it. I’ll definitely be back with more cash to try something else!

CASHONLY! Love coming here, especially on days when I need to crack down and get a lot of studying done. Studying– one of my personal favorites in the area. Plenty of tables and seating with sufficient outlets throughout the teahouse. Music plays over head, but they don’t blast it here. I always see lots of students study here as well. Food– none. Probably one of the reasons why I love studying here is because people don’t really come here to hangout for long. Might be because there’s no food served here. So, noise levels remain low and relatively tame. Since there’s no kitchen, I’ll bring my own snacks if I plan to stay for awhile. I’ve seen people buy food from Dong Nguyen next door or 101 noodle across the street. Drinks– decent. Usually get the rose milk tea or the classic black milk tea(less sweet) with or without pudding depending on my mood. Parking– big lot shared with 168 market, CVS, and other shops. Never had trouble with parking here.

I went with a friend on a Thursday night and it wasn’t that packed. This is located in the 168 market and CVS pharmacy area, so parking was easy to find. I ordered their Rose Milk Tea with half sugar. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and I enjoyed my drink a lot. This tea house is also my ideal study location because it has music playing, but it isn’t as loud as what you would expect or find at other tea/coffee stops. The internet was also pretty fast and I had no issue connecting to their wifi. They also did have a lot of outlets at almost every sitting area. The tables were actually pretty big if you wanted to lay out all your study materials, too. I would definitely come back again and try out their other milk teas.

The milk teas and boba here are solid. My favorite drink here is definitely the wintermelon milk tea with boba. Not too sweet, although you can always adjust sweetness level with them to your liking. Pros: –Good variety of milk tea and reasonable prices –Add-ons like boba and pudding are only .40 each –Good amount of seating –Accept five stars card(so no need to look for stamp cards!) –Friendly staff Cons: –Cash only –Lines can get long and it may take a while for you to get your drink –May not open right at the stated time(got there at 11:40am and it still wasn’t open– even though the posted sign stated it opened at 11:30am) –May have to wait for boba(for about 20 minutes) if you come too early in the day. Overall, great drinks and friendly service. Just make sure not to come too early– otherwise they may not be open yet and you’ll have to wait for toppings like boba.

Did I order a green milk tea. Or water??? So disappointed. Their drinks continue to disappoint me with their inconsistency. Stay away from ordering any of their milk teas. They’re always watered down & have no essence of a tea flavor. BOOHOO! I really wanted to like this place before writing a review but I’ve come to a conclusion that it’s better off going elsewhere to spend money on a drink. Why would anyone want to pay nearly $ 5 for a watered down drink!!! The consistency of their honey boba was decent though. That’s about it. Also, it’s cash only here lol. Meh

Ladybug Tea House is a surprisingly delicious boba café that offers quality boba without all the frills. Cash only! What did you expect? Welcome to SGV! I never would’ve found this place without Unilocal.Located between 168 Market and CVS Pharmacy, Ladybug Tea House is like your Cinderella before the ball. If you don’t venture all the way into the store fronts, there is nothing exteriorly attractive about the tea house. No loud music or fancy decoration. It just sits plainly with T-Mobile and some other non-outstanding stores dressed in colonial? style store fronts. However, I really enjoyed what its milk tea and green milk tea. The flavor is very consistent… in fact, reminiscent of Factory Tea Bar. And here’s the good news: it’s slightly cheaper too at $ 3.85 per cup with boba! And the boba texture has never failed to be chewy and sweetened to perfection. I haven’t tried most of the other drinks so I can’t speak to them. There lots of spacious seating and wide open tables for studying. Free WiFi and easy parking make it a great combination to spend an afternoon doing some work here. Lady Tea House uses the same Fivestar card system as Twinkle Brown Sugar, Kung Fu Soy, etc. It’s great to not have to carry around a bunch of stamp cards. In fact, even without the five star card, I can just punch in my phone number. I’m almost guaranteeing myself a free boba! The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because it serves more as a local favorites. If you live in San Gabriel Valley, this is the perfect place to study, meet up with friends, or get some work done. Why waste time looking for parking in Atlantic Plaza or by San Gabriel Mission if you know what I mean. However, for all those venturing into SGV looking for great location to chill and boba(yes, boba should be a verb), Tien Ren and Factory Tea Bar provide more of the comprehensive experience of going on a boba run with all their liveliness and crowding. Bottomline, Ladybug Tea House is too good to be skipped.

The most disgusting boba in all of the 626! Syrup only, and a total rip off! Drinks are super expensive… I can’t believe this place hasn’t closed yet. Workers here are cranky, and asking them to take a pic seemed like the most horrifying request ever! The only thing they have going is study space and WiFi.

I’ve only been here a couple of times but I think I’ll be coming back more often. Taro Milk Tea: I bit grainy for me but the taste was on point but the ratio of taro to tea was pretty good. A bit more milky that I prefer but that’s just a preference. Kumquat Green Tea with Aloe: I asked for half sweet and it was the perfect sweetness for me because your get a hint of kumquat and more of the tea flavor. They pack it with tons of aloe so remember to stick the straw at the bottom or you will be left with a bunch of aloe at the end. What I enjoy most about this place is that both times that I’ve come, it’s been really chill and perfect to get work done. With wifi and sufficient outlets around the place, you are pretty set on getting work done. Service was good since the drinks came out pretty quickly and they accept the Five Star card so you can rack up some points for a free drink instead of looking for your millions of stamp cards. Also they open pretty late so you can get your study on until the wee hours in the morning. Jk. Not that late but pretty late. Only warning: parking can be annoying with the random shopping carts laying around the parking lot. Cars beware!

Was looking on Unilocal for a boba spot after eating 101 noodle and saw this store come up. I mean how can you say no to a boba store called«Ladybug»! The outside makes it seem outdated, but the inside is super modern and very lively. What I thought was funny was the drinks were made behind the curtain so you couldn’t see the magic behind your milk tea. I usually go for the mango green tea and although I couldn’t find it listed on the menu, the cashier was nice enough to make it for me. The drink itself was pretty standard, it didn’t blow me away and was a tad too sweet, but not to the point I would complain about it. Definitely would try again.

Cute place to study and get some boba! Yummy yogurt drinks. Drinks are one size, but they’re rather large which is nice! CASHONLY! Located in a random strip mall — I was able to find parking on a Saturday afternoon. They play top 40 music and not too loud, so you can study. Free WIFI and lots of tables. They have one large table with a bunch of four seater tables around.

This was my second time coming to this place. I havent been here in a long time and stopped by yesterday to pick up some lunch to go. I ordered the rose milk tea with boba and got my coworker a regular milk tea. rose milk tea had real roses inside! Not too sweet and tasted very good to me. Refreshing. its a small little boba place located in the 168 supermarket and CVS.
