Law offices of Steven Qi and Associates

They want to charge me $ 1,000 for a service somewhere else only cost me $ 150. What more do I have to say?

Okay peeps… I’m a pretty easy-​going guy and I get along great with people… I have to… it’s pretty much my job to get along with people as a real estate agent.
Well, that was not the case when I went to see Steven Qi at his law office.
First of all, he is a lawyer and he should be professional at his career. He sets an appointment for 2:00pm to meet with us and then changes the appointment to 2:30pm, which I understand, maybe he is busy with some clients. When we get there, his rude paralegal instructs us to sit in the conference room and wait as she types up the paper for us, which should have been done 2 weeks prior because we kept calling about it, and she just says in a minute it will be done. STRIKE ONE.
Second, we sit in the office wait for about 45 minutes in which the appointment was reset to 2:30pm, and I (as a professional real estate agent) have a big respect for people’s time believe that you should be on time especially if you set an appointment. The time was 3:15pm when finally Steven Qi enters the conference room, STRIKE TWO.
Once Steven enters the room, he demands us to sign some paper. Doesn’t go over anything with us, just says sign here. I look at him with a weird look and ask him, what is this for?!? He replies, just some court papers you need to sign… At that point, I am getting pist off… I reach out my hand to grab some of the paperwork on the table so that I can read it and he says, «Oh, you want to read everything first? Go ahead!!!» then he throws the paperwork right in front of me, and storms right out of the room. WOW, I thought to myself… and by now I am LIVID!!! STRIKE THREE.
I start to talk out loud so some of his associates can here me say that, «this guy needs to learn how to handle some clients correctly and explain all of the paperwork correctly to his clients.» I believe he heard me because after I read the legal papers I asked him a few questions regarding the legal terms and issues regarding the matter, he seemed a lot more polite and tried to answer all of our questions. I am still going to report his actions to the BAR, but if I was paying for his legal services, I would have DUMPED this guy a long time ago, but I am not paying… and I have to live with using this guy for now.
