Smart Remodeling

Came late and did not give us a complete quote for the work on our house.
He has not responded to any of our emails either. Very unprofessional.

I hired Smart Remodeling after the painters/​electricians I hired earlier in the week turned out to be a disaster. Rudy and his crew came in and saved the day! They were the utmost professionals who did an AMAZING job painting, installing my TV, and doing other electrical work. They were punctual, respectful, efficient, highly skilled, and VERY reasonably priced. I HIGHLY recommend them and already have to many of my friends. I plan on hiring them again very soon for additional work on my house.

This has to be the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. The owner speaks to you with children and chickens cackling in the background. He barely speaks English but considering I hired this company direct from
, I trusted them. This was an absolute mistake. I purchased a 55″ TV for my parents and hired them to install it. They arrived 1 ½ hour late. The two workmen spoke no English. How am I supposed to communicate with people that do not understand the language of America? My father was a contractor for 60 years but can no longer complete physical tasks like this yet he took the time to measure the area on the fireplace where the tv was to be installed and marked it off to make their job easier. When installing the bracket, they disregarded his measurements and placed the TV way to far to the right. We kept telling them it wasn’t right but they did not nor did they wish to understand. When they finally hung the television it was way off. Yes it was level as he showed us with his level but the grout lines on the fireplace are not perfectly level and we understand that and tried to explain to them with no aval. We kept asking them to match the grout lines but all he would do is point at his bloody &$%^!:* –level. We were extremely frustrated with them. When they left we thought they were still working because the television was not connected and all the wires were left just hanging there? One other note, I had to drive to Home Depot to buy the proper hardware because they didn’t have it with them. I wish I knew how to say Larry Moe and Curly in Spanish, I was told to say «Los Tres Pendejos» because that is the best way of describing these workers. I waited until Monday and called the owner again. I explained the situation and he responded in an angry, threatening manner. In broken English he said he would not send his workers back to re-​do the job and than told me he was going to call Amazon and tell me to go to hell whatever that meant? Please, if there are any of you in need of services this company offers, I plead with you to go elsewhere. This company obviously has untrained staff who have no concept of professionalism. I had to hire another company to come back and finish the job. In my eyes and experience, this is one of the worst companies I ever dealt with. I am a criminal prosecutor for LA County and am already having this companies credentials and staff investigated. For their sake, they better have everything in order including legal status for their workers. Good luck with whomever you choose, just stay way away from these Bozo’s!

I was looking for someone to come & réplace our bathroom sink cabinet. I had call Rudy & his team. From end to finish the experience was great. Very courteous, always focus on details, patience & the best was the whole replacement process, they always took care of our place using their own canvas or painters drops, vacuum, etc that at the end looked like nothing happened. Very professional & we have a new project soon where we will use them again.
