Wesley T Uyehara, MD – Facey Medical Group Alhambra

Great doctor, care his patient, love his job. I was so amazing one time I asked him something in my mouth, and he told me he forgot the medical terminology, then few months later, he sent me a letter include a medical magazine article talking about the details of the issue of my mouth. He is so amazing, he really use his heart to treat all of his patients, doesn’t matter you are rich or poor, white or black, we all feel his care. I went to his office yesterday, btw, they are no longer Facey, it’s brought up by Health care partner. I just found out he is no longer practice here, how sad. I met another patient came to see Dr. Uyehara, and she and her husband went there to see him and found out he was no longer there. She told me how much they missed him because Dr. Uyehara is very nice and knowledgeable. We all missed him. Hope everything is fine with him.

Patient, thorough, full of medical knowledge, and takes the time to explain any medical questions or concerns you may have, Dr, Uyehara is simply the best. I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 15 years and this doctor was the one chose for my Mom’s care when she got sick. The reasons why? When I used to visit Dr Uyehara as a rep for Merck and also at Astra Zeneca, despite his busy schedule, he would often take the time to find out about any new therapies, ask questions, and basically want to keep up with the latest advances in medicine. You would think this would be commonplace for all physicians but unfortunately, it is not. Dr. Uyehara also has a great bedside manner, being a combination of easy going, friendly and intelligent.
The only negative I would mention is that Dr. Uyehara often runs late and there usually is a wait. However when he is with you or any other patient, you will never feel rushed despite his busy schedule. He is often calm, cool, and collected. I honestly don’t mind the wait because I know he is spending quality time with each patient. Therefore, I would recommend you allow extra time for your appointment.
I have chosen Dr Uyehara to be my first line doctor and trust him to cover all the bases for my health, along with having the good sense to know when to advise for a specialist. I feel lucky being Dr. Uyehara’s patient and hope he lives a long and happy life. He needs to live long so he can make sure I do too!
