Stop by so many times. So far one of my favorite asian fast food. I mean people shouldn’t have too high expectation for fast food. with this price and quality, I would be quite satified. Recommend steak and teriyaki chicken.

To all the negative comments I say, you must have been having a bad day or something. This Yoshinoya has been by far the best one on taste, presentation, cleanliness, and customer service. specifically speaking when I go in on Monday mornings to grab my lunch I know that Charles and Miguel are going to have that kitchen running smooth and the food tasting great. I would also like to mention that I have had several run ins with Charles and he has been the most helpful and knowledgeable we hen he is up front and seems to have a great handle on things in the kitchen… overall great staff great food and great location. Highly recommended.

Service is average. Food is slightly above average compared to other locations. Prices are slightly less than other locations. However, sometimes they are inconsistent with the amount of meat you get with your order. Ordered a combo bowl today. The chicken and beef was about a quarter short what I am used to getting locally. Perhaps its a training issue.

Pretty nice that they close at 3, so if it’s late at night and you’re hungry, you can come by. Pretty decent prices for their food, I got their combo bowl with original beef and orange chicken, was expecting the chicken to be just okay, but it was pretty better than most places.

The food is good! And the quality is decent. Me and my fiancé come here because we enjoy ordering the large angus steak and the beef vegetable bowl. The place itself though is a dump. It needs some renovations. We don’t like eating there because it’s dirty and the bathrooms yeah don’t go in there. We order than take it to go. Food is good the place is nasty

I love how they close at 3am! It’s the perfect cheap late night snack, but they close half of their dining area at night. There’s always coupons in the mail B1G1 °F! The food is usually good. I loveeee how they have the options: do you want sesame seeds? Onions? Because I hate them both. I like their chicken teriyaki. Soft and flavorful. Veggies are steamed and have a fresh healthy taste. Rice is soft. Staff is friendly. Parking lot is small.

1am, Sunday, my girlfriend and i are starving. Went to in and out, closed, went to the hat, closed. Everywhere around valley Atlantic closed. Then we found amazingly Yoshinoya open till 3am! The employee Domingo at the counter was incredibly helpful. Couldn’t ask for more.

Today(2-17-2016) at 11:56AM, I visited Yoshinoya on 1701 W. Valley Blvd. in Alhambra, CA. I come here about two times a month, and had a very disappointing experience today. First I ordered my meal from the«Combo Bowl + Drink $ 6» coupon, which shows the Angus Steak and Orange Chicken on the picture. I wanted that one, but then I checked it inside the store and had received Angus Steak and Chicken TERIYAKI. False advertisement in the coupon pictures… I let that slide, because I did not want to make any trouble for the workers. Once I went to fill in my drink, I noticed another customer complain about how dirty the soft drink area was and I realized it was so dirty too by where the straws were. When I drank my soda, I could taste the ice that had a nasty taste as if they do not change the filters for the ice. It had a disgusting taste. As if these two bad experiences today was not enough, once I finished my meal I immediately had diarrhea. I am truly disappointed in Yoshinoya, I will be reconsidering if I should return as a customer. I knew it was Yoshinoya food that gave me diarhea because I have not eaten anything until once I finished my meal, I had to go to the bathroom. The grade for this restaurant should be a D to C.

Old chicken, nasty mixed teriyaki sauce, and soggy wet vegetables. Eat here if you want to; it’s your choice to puke for the next 4 days. The chicken was noticeably old, dry, listless, with a very odd… Disgusting flavor. The rice was overcooked, squishy, and overall distasteful.

I usually like this chain. This location though has very dry beef and rice. I guess these are independently owned. I will not be visiting this location again.

Dinner on Friday, 9÷3÷15 There’s usually no wait at all when I come here for dinner. The cashiers are friendly most of the time. Remember to use the coupons delivered in the mail for a better deal. Tables are abundant and drinks are refillable. The condiments are available to use but if you want them as take out, just ask them. I ordered a chicken bowl with the BOGO coupon. I used to get the beef bowl but my favorite is now the chicken bowl because it’s on the sweeter side and it comes with vegetables. The portion is just right too. The cashier had put all the condiments I needed in the bag without me asking. Thanks. I really enjoy having Yoshinoya. This isn’t the cleanest location but I just come for take out food and I think it tastes great. The only down side of visiting this location is the parking lot. It’s a bit difficult to get out because of the traffic. I found an alley in the back though so I’ve been using that to drive onto Marengo.

This place is okay. I forgot about this place after a while and decided to come back. This place is okay. Lots of fat in their chicken and beef. I only eat the rice here.

This location is convenient 24 hours a day. We occasionally make use of this location. Price is also very good at an affordable. I asked a large ball of beef bowl today.

As I write this review, my stomach is growling. Why? Because I’m freaking starving. I just drove 15 minutes to the Alhambra Yoshinoya because I thought they closed at 3am. Wrong. I arrived around 2:40am, attempted to open their door but it was locked. I double checked my wrist watch to make sure it was before 3am. Check. But the dude behind the counter pretended that I wasn’t even standing outside the door. I stood outside for about 30 seconds then decide to leave and get some late night grub at Jack In The Box instead. I could tell that he was happy that I left. If you’re going to close your door at 2:30am, then please change the hours on your door sign and online so that I don’t waste my time and gas driving to your restaurant. Thanks but no thanks.

Finally, I found a Yoshinoya that I’m not disappointed in!!! Since this is food that I grew up on, it comfort food for me. I’m sure I’ve review a different location before, but THIS Yoshinoya is the BEST one that I’ve found in SoCal within a reasonable driving distance. Yoshinoya is a chain in Japan that serves gyudon and there were a few in Glendale, in the 70s(if they were here before that I wouldn’t know since I wasn’t alive yet) were only called«beef bowl» since that was all they served. So I went here ALL the time when I was little. It was our«go to» place on Sundays when my dad worked swing shift. Sign up for their Bowlers Email List and you’ll get a BOGO just for signing up. The BOGO expires pretty quickly after you sign up for the email list. But, it’s worth it. Two larges(that weren’t all skimpy like at the other ones that I’ve tried) for a little over $ 6. Just make sure to sign up when you are going to go in the next week. I think the coupon is only good for a week. There’s also a lot more business at this location, even though it looks a lot more«ghetto» than other ones that I’ve been to. But I figure, with the amount of business that they are getting, they must be doing something right. Seriously, there was a super long line at about 3pm on a Sunday — huh? I am actually eating a large beef bowl and trying to multi-task at the same time. LOL

Had to bump this Yoshinoya up to 4 stars after I decided to give them another chance. I avoided this location for over a year due to a horrible beef bowl I had here years back. However, I moved and now this is the closest Yoshinoya to me. I recently went during a late night and ordered the combo bowl. Wow, it was like the best Yoshinoya I had. and no food poisoning the day after! Big thumbs up to the elderly Asian man that works the evening shift. He has got everything locked down. I might come during lunch or dinner to see how it is in comparison.

Get in, get out, and get filled up. Taste-wise, Yoshinoya tends to divide people in half — either you enjoy it or you don’t. I’ve grown to enjoy it after years of taking advantage of their buy one get one free coupon. Now it’s buy one get one 50% off. For those that don’t enjoy it, it could be because of the mushy, unnatural looking vegatables, or the teriyaki sauce of the chicken. Most do tend to like the beef bowl though. If B-Man’s or Flame Broiler were next door, I’d would go to those options instead. Sometimes, Yoshinoya is the only option and for that, it could be worse.

In most cases I am happy to say Mr. Yoshinoya here finally cleaned up their act. The service has gone much smoother since the last time I was here. Hopefully the employees are properly retrained to make things more efficient both at the counter and in the kitchen. The service was fast, and I got my bowls after about three minutes. They were not busy during that time, so maybe that makes a difference. The whole place seemed a bit cleaner. The floors are bright, the beverage fountain maintained, the counter tops shiny, and especially the proportions of the food has gotten better… unlike what I was given before which seems like a whole plate of white rice with me asking where the meat was. Anyhow, this is how a business should function with both cleanliness and efficiency. Hopefully the bad apples has been weeded out. Please keep it this way since I have been coming to this Beef Bowl for so long.

Came here to get food togo w/my boyfriend last night and I got the small teriyaki chicken w/no vegetables and he got large combo bowl. After arriving home he opens his box and the first thing he notices is a long string of pitch black hair. I have light brown-blonde hair. Uhm gross! While he was eating he found more hair!!! How fucking disgusting. I told him to call and complain but he didn’t want to make it a big issue because we were watching a movie. But he said he usually likes it but had just a very bad experience this time. As for me, Im a first timer I don’t know if it is only this time or maybe I’m not use to the teriyaki chicken but it tastes like alcohol to me and I didn’t really like it at all. The beef was a little better to me. Besides that, the food came out fast and you can pick your own condiments. Oh and I couldn’t finish even half the small. Maybe I didn’t like it or the portion was actually kinda big I don’t know.
