Hampton Inn

This hotel is a must stay in. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. It’s super clean, nice and quite, good breakfast, staff is super friendly, rooms are nice with a comfy bed. We are some happy campers.

we were headed deep into south texas to visit family and it was getting late. alice is an hour from where we needed to be, so we thought we would crash for the night. it was, after all, the largest city we’d come across in hours! i used my phone to look up hotels on tripadvisor for alice and found a handful. i didn’t, however, map it out and it’s not on the main highway. my bad. be sure you map it out, it’s not on 281; alice is much larger than it appears! this location had great reviews. we were looking for a room with a fridge (to store our «hippie food»), a microwave (to warm up our «hippie food»), free wireless internet, free breakfast, and a clean room. i hoped for a comfy bed, but just a clean bed would do. we got all of the above and a comfy bed. in addition, the front desk staff member was super nice. i would stay here again.
