We came to him after Dr. Deyan at hogue got my wife sick. He delivered our first baby and maybe even saved his life. I read some reviews about the wait time at his office which can be long at times but it is worth it. He real is a god send. When my wife has been stressed he has such a calming effect on her. Our baby is alive and healthy today because of him and we have a second one on the way and he will be delivering him too! Thank you so much Dr Ghodsian!

I was ambivalent about having a male OB/Gyn, but I went in with an open mind. The office space is neat and clean, but small. There were children scurrying back and forth bored. Very claustrophobic. The nurse showed me an optional waiting area in the lobby outside the door, which is airy, clean,(leather seating) neat, and sunny. Read, text, or listen to your music. Great place to wait.(the Kaiser Office) My appointment was at 1100. The Dr. was understandably late delivering a baby… Over an hour. It was what it was. It happens. Dr. Ghodsian is a small, quiet, calm, soft-spoken gentle, competent older man with over 46 years experience of specializing in OB/Gyn issues, he is very relatable to women. All of his staff are women. He is patient, efficient and easy to understand, if you are an intent listener… If you are listening. He will speak up if you ask him. Be patient with him as well. He never goes on vacation, and he has to be about 70. His demeanor is quiet, slow, easy-going, and not hurried. You won’t feel rushed or uncomfortable with him. If you are looking for someone who is more«emotionally cued in», or you are a «freaker-outer» type of patient, or think all doctors are gods, he may not be for you. He is a man, and he is old. I like just the facts please. That’s why he works for me. The nurses are friendly, but not too helpful in supporting him at times… maybe a bit TOO comfortable in their environment and their relationship with the Doctor. I don’t like that they are speaking Spanish continually in the office. Most of what they are saying hardly relates to their work. I can see them perhaps taking advantage or taking the Doctor for granted at times… Which can cause office and administrative snafus. The parking is tight and crowded, but overall, if you are looking for a good OB/Gyn in Aliso, and are open to having an older male doctor, try Dr. Ghodsian. I think you will be satisfied with his care. He’s moved to Mission Viejo across from Los Altos.
