I’m giving two stars for the service provided by the sales gal. We arrived about noon and there was a bit of action going on. We were almost immediately greeted and offered help and I did complete my stay with a purchase of jeans. While walking around I noticed how disheveled the clothing was on the tables and hanging racks. My first thought was at close Christmas Eve the staff must have just walked out. But the more I walked around as well as use of fitting room it was clear that cleaning ISNOT a priority to this team. Not only could you find papers, plastic bags, sales tags on the sales floor there were dust balls the size of a large mouse moving around the floor. The dressing room hadn’t been vacuumed in quite a while either. Stock was low for what I wanted post Christmas but the sales gal did try to find at another store and then offered to order in for me. I’ve been a customer for years starting first at Casual Male and have learned the designers and how the different jeans/pants fit vs each other. When another gal tried to help I explained my situation and she responded as to not knowing how the pants would fit. Really, if you are going to work in a specific type store it is your job to know these things in order to offer over the top service and not waste your customers time. I was contacted within a day about my complaint asking for contact information that a regional or operations manager could follow up with me. A week has passed and to date I have heard from no one. To me that is bad because they have a captive audience(men, big and tall) in my area. Now I’ll be forced to either deal with the mail order system they have in place or try other online retailers for clothing of similar quality. Too bad I’m not important. Too bad they take me for being a complainer instead of using my 30 plus years of operation management as a tool to help them better themselves.
