I had bought some bras online that weren’t quite fitting me right, so instead of going through the hassle of returning them via mail, I thought I’d stop in and return them here.
Christine stepped up and helped me with no issue. My sizing was right, the bra type was wrong. I kid you not when I say this woman spent 45 minutes handing me different bras, adjusting bras on me, and giving me options. After we had finally figured out which bras were «for me,» she ordered them online for me, so that I wouldn’t be charged shipping ordering them online myself, and suggested I look up a coupon code on the LB site that saved me $ 25! She definitely went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and not rushed at all.
The only down side to this store is the selection. They don’t carry my size (36DD) in store, so I didn’t have any options to try on there. Their full coverage options for 38D are a little limited too (to just two racks).

This store is smaller than the Lathrup Village location, but it carries a decent selection of clothing. Located right in the Plaza with Old Navy & Payless, Lane Bryant offers Allen Park a spot for plus size women. It is the only one since Ashley Stewart’s not in the area & the Avenue carries different types of clothing (style wise). I like the over sized dressing rooms & that they do bra fittings. The ladies ACTUAL know what they are doing! You can always find something on clearance & if you like shopping then sign up for the LB mailing list. That is the only way I shop there because the clothes are somewhat overpriced ($ 30 for a cotton t-​shirt). But you pay for quality & they usually last through many washing. It is just much more economical to use there $ 25 off $ 75 coupon, etc.
It is on my top 5 list of places to suggest.
