Subpar EVERYTHING, I know it’s conveniently located up here with all the shopping, but please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to eat. The waitress was rude, the food was poorly prepared, definitely not worth your hard earned money!

Went tonight with my sister for the first time & loved it! Not too long of a wait, about 15 mins. The service was outstanding. Some of the best service I’ve received! The food was delicious! My steak was so tender & flavorful, & the mashed potatoes were incredible! I will be back for sure.

Wait time was average, staff was average and food was average. Order a medium rare streak but it taste like a well done steak. It was dry. Lemonade was too sweet. Will not be going back.

We usually eat up at the bar, bartender there is very attentive and inviting. Food is always tasty and service is fast. Manager checks to make sure everything is fine. A nice touch for sure.

I have eaten here a dozen times and never once have we not had to send food back. One time they brought out a hot dog for my daughter, the bun was hard as a rock and the meat was still frozen on the inside, they’ve brought me ribeye trying to pass it off as filet(over cooked on top of that). They can’t get a cut or temp right to save their lives. It’s a shame people don’t care about what they put out anymore, then treat you like you’re a jerk trying to get a free meal. I can promise you this I would MUCH rather pay for a decent meal than get it comped because your staff can’t cook.

When I asked about getting a coupon because we were unable to get one from the phone we were told we had to join their e club which I promptly did but we have to wait until our next visit to be able to get a coupon. I thought they should have offered us a coupon today. The salad is very fresh and I love the bread. We weren’t finished with our salad and the entrée came to quickly. That’s one of my biggest pet peeves. The Parmesan encrusted chicken was excellent the rice had a hint of orange very good and the loaded baked potato was exquisite. The renegade steak cooked medium was delicious cooked as ordered the baked sweet potato was very good. We really loved the hot multigrain bread. I think if it wasn’t for the little bit of attitude we got from the waitress in the beginning this would have been a perfect date because the food was so good and the atmosphere is so nice here the music isn’t too loud either. I just feel she could have been a little bit more cooperative and helpful with a coupon for us. Even told her that is not like this was our first visit here we come here every so often. I wouldn’t let one person stop me from coming here because I do really like it here so for that reason I’m not going to give her the amount of stars they could have gotten but I’m still going to come back.

Great steaks, loved the French onion soup. The heavy duty survival knife they give you to cut both the honey bread(also delicious) and the steaks are quite awesome. The only issue we had during our recent visit was the baked potatoes for both meals were somehow both dry and undercooked. But the server quickly replaced them.

Tried calling in a carryout order at 10:05, restaurant closes at 11:00, was told that they did not accept call in orders after 10:00. I asked to speak to a manager, and was put on hold for 5 minutes, only to be told by the manager that it was a rule from her boss, and no exceptions could be made. I was told I could come in an place an order at the bar, however I could not place an order by phone, because of a completely arbitrary and nonsense rule. I have been to this Longhorn many times in the past as I work in Dearborn, however I will never go again because of this experience with terrible customer service and inept management.

Every time I come to longhorns I order the New York strip steak because it is the BEST steak I have ever had. Tender, delicious, juicy, and always cooked perfectly!

Went last night for the first time in years, and first time at this location. Got there early on a Saturday for dinner, so only a 15 minute wait. Our server may have been the best I’ve ever had at a chain restaurant. She was on the ball, attentive but not overbearing. Always was bringing refills for our thirsty table. Making recommendations when appropriate, and seeing needs before they were mentioned. Outstanding service despite a busy dining room. The food was also excellent. We had the Wold West Shrimp, which was delicious. Large portions, which was perfect for our party of 4. 2 of the 4 of us got steak for our entrée and both were cooked perfectly and had lots of flavor. The sweet potatoes were also delicious. Another of our party got chicken and just about locked his plate clean. Finally, dessert. We all gotthe lemon blueberry cake and it was incredible. Sweet and tart, and rich but not overly so. Perfect feeling of summer in the middle of the March! We will definitely be back whenever we find ourselves at The Hill!

Ordered the Outlaw Ribeyes for my wife and I medium. Mine came out Medium Well and hers came out Well Done, both like leather shoes. The manager was polite and removed her order from the bill, but our dinner night was ruined by now. In there defense they were very busy, our server Steve was not rude but, very bland. it was like dealing with a tree branch(no personality)

I think this was my second visit to this location, but the first in a long while. My only complaint is that I don’t understand their seating policy. We went on a Saturday evening, and there was a wait as can be expected. But we watched as a number of tables sat empty after they had been cleaned off. From the waiting area we saw 2 booths that sat empty the whole time and when the hostess was asked about them she replied«well, a big party just sat there we cant overwhelm the waitstaff». If your waitstaff can’t properly maintain their section, then get better waiters(and I say this as a former waiter myself). Our waitress, Samantha W, was great, if not a bit over-bearing. She asked if we wanted boxes in the middle of our meal, so it seemed if she was was trying to rush us out. However, she did get our orders right. Food was good. No complaints. Oh, and if you serve wine, you should have wine glasses. The wine my deaf grandmother got came in some weird goblet. Idk.

Other then attending the Unilocal Elite event, I haven’t been to a steakhouse chain in awhile, but I’m so glad we’ve rediscovered this. It was really cool to see some of the items we were evaluating actually made the menu — Chicken and Waffles(app), Wild West Shrimp, and the Angry Apple Stag. We loved the Wild West Shrimp. The batter for the shrimp was very well seasoned, and I was told by my husband that the peppers that accompanied the shrimp(even though I didn’t eat it) was a great pairing, and Ranch sauce was a great choice for the dipping sauce. I knew, before I came, that I was going to get the 18 oz. Outlaw Ribeye. The outside had the perfect amount of char, the inside was cooked to a perfect medium rare. It was outstanding! For my side, I got the mac & cheese, it’s a little more expensive than the standard sides, but the bacon pieces really added to it, and it well worth the extra $ 1.50. I look forward to eating the second half of the steak(since I couldn’t finish it all in one sitting), the mac & cheese, and looking forward to visiting LongHorn again!

Four of us went there on a busy Saturday night but were sat within 10 minutes. The server we had was very knowledgeable, but it seemed like she was overworked and didn’t come by that often… no big deal. My wife and I ordered the 2/$ 29.99 meal. She got the portobello steak, salad, and sweet potato, and I got the regular steak, mac n cheese, and salad. The meal came with a shared starter or dessert, but the options seemed limited; we got the chocolate cake dessert thingy. Basically, that meal deal is the same thing you can get for a lesser price at any number of other steak restaurants, but the quality is far better. Everything was cooked to perfection, and not a morsel was wasted. At the end of our meal, the server(who seemed hard to catch at times) said she would bring our dessert. We waited over 30 minutes for it to come, but when it did, it was massive. Despite being a shared dessert, it was large enough for four people! At other places, the shared dessert is usually a small bowl of ice cream with two spoons. In the end, the bill for the two of us was over $ 40. My other two friends spent $ 25 and $ 20. We commented that it seemed pricey, but the food was definitely better than places like Applebee’s, Logan’s, or Outback(not as good as Lone Star in my opinion).

My boyfriend and I came in on Saturday, February 1st, to celebrate a year of survival ;) The place was packed and we happily sat down to dine at the bar. The bartender greeted us right away and we could tell she was incredibly busy, we were in no rush and expressed that to her. We had excellent service for the 2 hours we were there. I was thoroughly disappointed watching other patrons use the opportunity to complain and patronize a woman that was clearly doing her job under great pressure. That said, we wish the lovely Brandy K. better luck with future bar patrons and we will most definitely be back the next time we are on that side of town. Not before calling to make sure she is working of course.

I like longhorns. It’s one of my favorite restaurants. I’m disappointed with the service at this particular location. They don’t treat people well. May be because it was a crowded evening but it actually spoiled our evening after dining there. The food wasn’t that great either. This was our 5th visit and the quality of the food is going down. The cooked asparagus used to be great. But recently they started using very thick ones which makes it difficult to eat. The gravy was too salty. The waitresses are not courteous. She forgot to get our plates. We had to ask and wait for a while. It kind of bummed us out, when she tries to explain us how to use a pepper grinder when we asked to get a new one as if we have never been to restaurant ever.

I like Longhorn. It’s a decently priced steak chain place. There used to be one right near me(walking distance) in Roseville. However, over the past few years the not-so-accurate service there began to be downright ridiculous(I waited 30 minutes for a water refill once) eventually the place closed. Now I have to travel either north or west to enjoy Longhorn. Not a huge deal, but I wish they’d re-open one closer to me again(with better servers). Pros: Mike, our server, was friendly and attentive. Steak was great. Lobster was great. All the food was wonderful! Drinks were well made. When ordering dessert, my know-it-all date ordered the wrong thing and Mike took it back and replaced it with what he really wanted no problem. Cons: My salad did come with my meal rather than first. Mike did apologize, and noticed it before i pointed it out, but I was hungry as FAHK! My steak was more medium than medium well. This is typical of Longhorn. Almost everytime they undercook my steak. I usually suck it up because I am sort of «gearing» towards medium S-L-O-W-L-Y and it DID still taste great… but I don’t know why this place consistently undercooks my steaks. If you are one to be picky about having too much red in your steak, I suggest inspecting it BEFORE you cut in so you don’t freak out. I had a good time and I’ll be back. There are always a few kinks with this place when I come, but for the most part the staff is more than happy to make it right and I really like their menu selection.
