All American Flooring

We had hardwood floors put down a few years back from All American Flooring and they did an awesome job. We were near the store on Saturday Dec. 12^th and stopped in and saw Erik and discussed getting our 4 bedrooms completed with Hardwood. Erik pulled up our information from 3 years ago and said they have that same hardwood in stock, he even remembered our house and new puppy.
Erik came over on Monday morning and took all the measurement and gave us a great estimate. He arranged the installation for Tuesday morning so everything would be completed before our children came home for Christmas.
On Tuesday morning Renee and two of his workers showed up right on time and they had the job completed by noon on Wednesday and it’s PERFECT.
If you’re looking for great prices with quality work you have to give this place a try.
When it’s time to do the kitchen floors we’ll be right back to this place!!!

We were very happy with the entire process, sales and installation. The salesperson was courteous, informative, and never pushy. The workers were punctual, polite, and detail-​oriented. We have dealt with a lot of contractors in our time, and this was by far the best experience we have had. We will definitely be using them again for our next project (bathroom remodel).

From the moment I entered into All American flooring in Allen Eric, the sales representative, was very helpful. I expressed to Eric that I was under pressure and was working on a strict budget. He showed me all elements that fitted my budget first, gave me his product recommendations without going out my budget, this took approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. He helped me select hardwood floors, as well as the carpet. He called me later on to tell me the hardwood I selected was going to be on sale and he was issuing me a new estimate for less. I was sooo happy. The hardwood and carpet installers started the installation as expected, they were very professional and pay closed attention to little details, also did a fantastic job at upgrading the base board. Eric called at least once a day to ask how everything was going. I am very satisfied with the quality of the installation and with American Flooring in general. Thumbs up for Eric!

Everything might have worked out except we had a problem, the floor began chipping. We called, it took some time for someone to call us back. We were told we’d be called back the next day, no call, so I had to call them. All in all it took several calls and no call backs, a call to the owner, a threat of my attorney, and persistence on my part to get anything done. Frustration!

Prices are good and salesman was nice. I contracted for a $ 14,000 job.
The installers are decent at laying wood although I do still have a few boards that are not stuck down. They also didn’t understand that the boards are PURPOSELY different lengths and they cut many of the long boards to make them match.
The carpet went great but they didnt clean the slab and laid the new carpet on top of plenty of dirt. The tile installers are awful. The tiles are uneven in height, the gaps are not consistent, the grout is too low and cracking out.
They also put my trim back wrong. They broke a few pieces and jammed it back in place and said it was that way before. I showed them pictures that I took before to prove it and they just changed the subject and left. They replaced one single tile when I complained about unevenness. They refuse to fix anything else.
Overall I guess you get what you pay for and they were the cheapest. I bet Rodenbaugh’s work would’ve been much better, but they were almost 3x the price.
