Allen Floors

Here’s a long overdue review.
We had Allen Floors replace all the carpet in our house with new carpet and laminate this summer. I shopped this around a lot. When it came to price, quality and availability, they couldn’t be beat.
Johnny and David were helpful, laid back, friendly and great to work with. Johnny made sure we always knew where we were in the process from material delivery to which crew would be installing and when. If half the salespeople and contractors I know communicated this well, they’d be rich.
Their showroom has a ton of products, but isn’t overly fancy-​it doesn’t need to be. They’ll be honest with you about the products they recommend.
We also have animals, so we were concerned about scratching wood. Johnny recommended a laminate (we’ve had laminate previously so we are familiar) and it is awesome. People can’t tell it’s not real wood. The carpet even six months after still gets complimented and you can feel the softness under foot when wearing shoes.
I would and have recommended Johhny O, David, and Allen Floors. Highly.
If you’re looking for the opulent showroom and the kiss-​a** salesperson, go elsewhere. If you want quality products, good local business, and install you’ll appreciate long after– go to Allen Floors.

Installers were great. But office manager– owner is awful! When we were looking for floors, I wanted wood or tile. The guy told my boyfriend «I feel sorry for you. She has expensive taste». I wanted sturdy floors that would hold up to three large dogs. He talked us into laminate floors instead of what I wanted… He was insulting and brash.
Then the nightmares began, my refrigerator broke and leaked all over… ruined that area. Called and left a message to Allen Floors, no call back ever.
Two years later my floors already need to be replaced. The laminate wood does NOT hold up to dogs. He lied and schemed just to get a sale.

Incredible service, great prices, and the best people. The installers are professional and fast. They installed the floors and made sure that all the finishing touches were done. You won’t find a better flooring store around! Our house looks awesome after these guys installed our wood floors. Johnny is the man to talk to!
