This is a decent older outdor public swimming facility hidden away behind Ford school and adjacent to the park. It is quite spartan but serviceable, and only $ 1.75 admission (admission included with City of Allen Red Cross approved swim classes). There are plenty of picnic tabkes and an outdoor shower to rinse rhe chlorine off. Bathrooms double as changing rooms. Be sure to bring your own sunscreen and snacks, although there are some vending machines and occasionally an ice cream truck comes by. I give three stars over two since I’m the first reviewer and Unilocal doesn’t have half star options.
