Ok I love the taste of Jimmy John’s but every time I just want a basic turkey and cheese sub something goes wrong since there is no menu item and I have to modify a menu item to get a turkey and cheese sandwich without tomato. I think corporate should add one to the menu.

As of this writing, the map location for this location is incorrect; it’s located next to WalMart at 730 W Exchange. After months of watching the place get built, they’re finally open! I hit the drive thru to grab sandwiches for myself and my wife, and took them home for the big reveal. My sandwich was a #8 «Billy Club», with roast beef, ham, provolone, lettuce and tomato. Dijon mustard and mayo rounded out the construction on French bread. After unwrapping, I decided to «hog out» the top of the bread a little to save some carbs, and piled on a bit more mustard while I was at it. Digging in, the meats were fairly plentiful and tasty, although I prefer my roast beef a little more rare than was presented. The ham was tender, with no «chewy bits». Lettuce and tomato were both fresh, with the former being crisp and cool, but the latter lacking a bit in taste(it is February, in fairness). The bread was not overly crusty and was quite fresh. Overall, this was a pretty good sandwich. Next time, I’ll try the 7 grain bread, since that’s more the way I roll. At under $ 6, though, these sandwiches are a great buy for some very good food.
