Just got a new bike here and I have taken my previous bike there as well. I have really been impressed with all the departments. Everyone in Service department is awesome and very knowledgeable and super nice. Thank you Larry… Larry was just great in working on my bike and helping answer questions for me. I really appreciate the customer service given, it is top notch here. Alec in parts was super friendly and helpful the many times I have called with questions. Kavin sold me my bike and was efficient and helpful. Matt was prompt in getting back with me and helping me get all my questions answered. Gary in finance was great. I hope I haven’t left anyone out. I can count on them to help me get the right products and in a timely manner. I will continue to bring my bike here.

I bought a used bike three years ago from Maxim and I’m still loving it. I enjoy going to Maxim and just look at all the stuff. Their employees are helpful and not pushy. I like that! Thanks Maxim, Sam

They rebuilt my 1988 Honda Hurricane a few years ago.
They did carbs cleaning, all fluids, new tires, new battery, master cylinder clutch and brakes rebuild and engine tuning.
I could have done all that, but with the busy life, it would have taken too long.
I wanted to go riding ASAP, so I paid the price for the rebuild.
The cost was reasonable and quick service. They are very friendly in the Parts and Service department.
I get from them all my needed parts and get tire changes there too.
Plus, I get to check all the new bike in a very nice showroom while I wait.

After a terrible experience at another local Honda dealership we found a great deal on a new motorcycle for our son. Straight up, honest sales force. No throwing numbers at us to confuse, no pressure, no bull, no kidding. We paid hundreds less than we were quoted elsewhere and sealed the deal in less time that any other in town. I’ve been a customer for parts and accessories for years, they now have earned our bike business. Thanks!

I was quoted a tire change price of $ 26 plus $ 6 for a stem over the phone. They knew I had my own tire. Arrived to a quote of $ 60. I was really hoping to find a dealer in the area I could trust. The search continues.
Crossroad Cycles in Plano took care of me for $ 25. 5 stars for them!

Bought my first motorcycle here and everyone was pleasant. Chris helped me understand how to take care of my bike by reviewing the maintenance for the Yamaha that I bought and Dave is a great businessman, who closed a deal with me with a firm shake and he did not try to trick or con me at all throughout the whole process. Both had bucketloads of information and technicalities to go through with me and they made the process painless. I have been riding almost everyday and my bike gets compliments. Great experience today trading in a Harley for a new Yamaha. Everyone was friendly, worked mostly with Dave and Bob.
They were very willing to work with me and help me to get a good deal, and it was a no pressure environment. No cheap sales tactics and genuinely friendly place. It is also very clean and nicely laid out.

There’s plenty of other places in the Metroplex to either purchase a vehicle or have it serviced. To have a sales manager who is not only condescending, but combative is completely uncalled for. If you can’t at least *act* reasonably towards a prospective customer, you should probably find a new line of work. I’ve used your service department twice previously, and had considerable issues both times, and then to go in to inquire about a new purchase and be treated the way I was… forget it. I’m sure Dallas Honda or D/​FW Honda will greatly appreciate your horrible customer service as I’m writing them a check for my new ATV. I’ve been to both of those places today asking the same questions, and they both managed to treat me with respect. Maybe you could get some lessons from them.

My 13 year old original tank had a few spots of rust in it. Maxim convinced me to replace it with a brand new one for $ 1000. Now, just over a year later the new one, supposedly OEM Honda is completely rusted through. I’ve owned many Honda motorcycles and never had any rust issues in the tank even 15 years after production.
I’m pretty convinced they sold me a cheap aftermarket tank for the price of an OEM tank. Horrible service. Never ran into mechanics or service/​sales advisors in Austin that couldn’t care less about my ride or my safety. Guess that’s Dallas for ya… Greeeedy

I purchased my Yamaha back in 2006 from Central Yamaha, but would do my servicing at the Richardson Yamaha or Maxim. The service department at Maxim is outstanding and Bob in the merchandise department is considered the «Mayor» of Maxim. I go there sometime to chat with Bob and get the latest scoop on everything.
The customer service at Maxim was better then that of Central Yamaha, so it’s my hope that Maxim will maintain that level of service.
Maxim does plenty for the community and is serious about the charities they support. The Monthly rides are also a great part of the social atmosphere that Maxim provides for his customers, and brings together riders of all levels, expertise, experience, and types.

Stopped by Maxim earlier this morning to check out the new CBR500Rs, one was in stock and I had several questions. I worked with Jef and he took the time to answer each and every question throughly as well as introduced me to the parts service and accessories folks. Everyone was very friendly and quite knowledgable — even with questions I’m sure they have heard a million times (not to mention I’m new to all this still).
The sales process went very well, no pressure and no surprises in the finance office either.
Once the bike was squared away I purchased several hundred dollars worth of protective gear (helmets, gloves, etc) and the accessories folks spent considerable amount of time ensuring that this new rider had the proper fitting clothes and gear that complimented the bike.
The entire process couldn’t have been made any easier, I really feel I received the respect and time that I deserved — and as a new rider that means everything.

I was restoring a 1970’s Honda motorcycle and was trying to find a part. I called this dealership and talked with a guy in the parts department. He was professional and friendly. I explained the part to the best of my ability and the guy asked if I was sitting in front of a computer. I was and he walked me through there website to the area of diagrams and I was able to show him exactly the part that I needed. Unfortunately, that part was no longer available available. He took time to explain what the part is and possible leads to where I might be able to find it. I would say that is excellent customer service and I will be returning as I start a new restoration.

DISHONEST/​SELL LEMONS. I bought a used bike and in 2 weeks later the starter clutch blew. Matt the gm stated if anything happens in the next month I will take care of it. I come back and they wanted to charge me retail for parts and labor. Please where ever you buy a bike get it checked out by a mechanic and get everything in writing. This Dealership prides themselves with unethical practices.

Excellent buying experience in purchasing a CBR250R recently. The sales rep was honest and eager to earn our business, financing went smooth without excessive add-​on pressure, and the price itself was the best in the area. We could not have been happier and highly recommend Maxim!

I have found the parts and service departments to be very helpful. But they don’t like to work on older model bikes.
