This restaurant is no longer Royal Chopstix. It is now called Bowl & Chopstix and the same people run it. Very friendly service. Great food!!!

Word of advise: Check your food before you leave the restaurant because chances are, they got it wrong, or the menu is misleading. I went there today after a long day and picked up an order that I waited 20 minutes for. I got home to find EVERYTHING wrong about it. Wrong eggroll, wrong dish. When I called the restaurant the guy argued with me and asked me to drive back up there to bring him the food at 8:30pm. I will never order from this place again. Food is mediocre at best. Skillman Wok down the street is 10 times better, it just doesn’t look as nice. I wish I would have gone there like I usually do.

Overpriced. Food was nothing to rave about, but it did come out very hot(I burnt my tongue actually). I went for lunch and tried the Sesame Chicken. It was dry, the fried rice was typical fried rice. I was impressed with the Vegetarian egg roll, best thing I had for sure. Prices have gone up since the reviews I read. Lunch special is $ 6.99 and does not include a drink. I paid over $ 9 for a mediocre lunch and I will not go back.

let me first admit that i try to refrain from commercialized chinese food, but today was one of those days where Royal Chopstix was the most convenient since it is in my neighborhood and I was in a rush. Unfortunately, every time I’ve been to Royal Chopstix I have been underwhelmed. This time was slightly different and there were some ups and downs. Pluses: They do have some of the best veggie egg rolls i’ve ever eaten, even compared to authentic chinese eateries. Plus they are super large. I could get full just from the eggroll and soup. The food is made to order They have the spicy mustard that I like. The kind with horseradish and that goes through your nose Lunch specials are cheap for what you get(an entrée, an eggroll, soup and a drink for one price.) Most places do not include the drink nor do they give you both a soup AND eggroll. The food is just okay. You can’t be that picky about cheap, chain chinese. But for like 6 bucks, you’re getting a steal for made to order basic chinese The customer service is good and timely Minuses: Royal Chopstix is supposed to be chinese. They recently added my fave THAI soup(Tom Yum) to their menu, so I tried it. It was a disgrace! Absolutely disgusting. I wasted it because it was too nasty to digest. Someone needs to advise that they remove this from their menu. They don’t have waiter/waitress service, which is okay for a fast food chinese place. My issue is, since they don’t have wait staff, they need a place for people who dine in to dump their own trash or dispose of their own dishes. When you dine in at Royal Chopstix, the food is delivered on real dishes. When you are done eating, you have no choice but to leave the table filled with your dirty dishes. It looks tacky. And if you are walking into the establishment and see several tables filled with dirty dishes, it makes you re-evaluate your decision to dine there. When I walked in today, there were several empty tables with dirty dishes. They need a better process to clean empty tables or they need to provide a place for people to pick up after themselves… or have wait staff.

I am soooo happy I tried this place. We go to the Mexican place across the street and spotted this place one day. It is fantastic! Friendly staff and the food is very fast, fresh, and delicious. The combination fried rice was great, as was the hot and sour soup, and the egg roll! I will be eating here frequently!

Very good — best egg rolls I’ve had in a long time. They have several options too. Ask for the homemade mustard — extra hot and tasty. Very friendly and fast. They will give you a to-go container of the mustard on request — it beats the pre-packaged stuff.

I’ve tried Royal Chopstix a couple of times. The place appears clean and is reasonably comfortable, and the service is more than adequate. I was far from impressed with the food — it wasn’t terrible, but was very bland both times I’ve tried it(once for the moo shi chicken, once for kung pao chicken). I’d be willing to give them another try in the future, but for now it’s on my «no-go» list.

A star was deducted for service. The person behind the counter was too busy(there was 1 other customer waiting on his order and the staff outnumbered us) to take my order. The older woman(not sure if it’s the same person) that has been there off and on is very nice, helpful and always had something nice to say when she brought my to-go order. The food was good as always. I love the crispy spring rolls but I’ve got to stop ordering 2 because they fill me up. The broccoli beef was good. As another person mentioned, it’s amazing that I can get home and the food still be almost too hot to eat(and I had to put groceries up first!). Lots of food usually means I can get 2 meals out of one. I’ve had hit and miss service here over the years. After the 1st few times, I didn’t come back for a long time because the owner? came in and was yelling at the staff — you just shouldn’t do that in front of customers — I didn’t think less of the staff but rather thought the owner was an idiot — but I didn’t want to run into him again.

Visited there couple weeks ago and had the sesame chicken. It was just OK, not very impressed though. It’s definitely not a place to sit and eat with your friends. I would go there for togo only.

I reviewed this place a while back but I have to amend it now. Royal Chopstix started out as a great Chinese place owned and ran by a nice Vietnamese couple. I was not sure what happened, but sometime later the quality of the food went downhill… so much that I could not stomach to eat there. Recently a good friend of mine asked me out to lunch and wanted to come here. I was not really in the mood for it but I went anyway. I am glad I did. Things are back to the way the were a couple of years ago. The food is hot and fresh and very tasty.

I really wish I had liked this place better. The office ordered take out from here this week and I had the pork lo mein. Although the portions were generous, it was bland. I poured soy sauce all over it and that helped but I probably won’t be going back.

Stopped in last week while in a hurry and wanting a change from holiday food. The restaurant lay out was nice and everything was clean. However, the food was just not what we expected. The spicy pork dish was NOT spicy at all, and most of the stir fried vegetables were celery; a cheap filler. We ended up ordering another dish because that dish just wasn’t good. The second dish was better(sesame chicken) but nothing special. I won’t go back.

Wow! This place is great! I went there on Sunday, I had both my kids and I was moving apartments so we were starving! I ordered the Super Hero for my kids to share(its a big order on the kids menu). My youngest is picky and he gobbeled the food up like there is no tomorrow. I ordered the Lemon Chicken with fried rice. Awesome! The lady at the front is so nice and helpful. I couldnt decide what I wanted, but she was very patient. I love this place and I will come back for more great food and service.

I had been craving chinese food and was hoping this would help. I stoped by Royal Chopstix last night. I ordered the Chicken with Cashew Nuts and a Crispy Spring Roll. Although it was housed in a lovely environmentally-unfriendly styrofoam container, my food was still very hot when I got back home. The spring roll was decent. Although I wouldn’t order it again… I just dont like shrimp in my spring rolls. As for the Chicken with Cashew Nuts… um, apparently Green Bell Peppers were on sale the last time they had a produce delivery, because that was the only vegetable in my dish. And they were huge chunks of pepper. I picked most of it out. The fried rice was good enough to calm my chinese food craving for a little while. I’m moving in August, so I doubt I’ll have another craving that bad within the next 56 days.
