Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

I’ve been here 3 – 4 times. Consistently poor service and demeanor. Never a smile; always a hassle about «being in their system;» told to come back tomorrow to pick up a quart of paint – even there was no one in the store at the time. Perhaps the experience would be different if you were a pro painter, which I’m not. I know people in the other shops that surround this one. And when the employees of this shop visit the other shops, as customers, they still carry this dour, sour expression along with them. If they want to be a shop owner, they should be in the wholesale business, not retail. I also noticed that other Sherwin-​Williams shops have poor customer reviews – here’s a guess: something amiss in the agreements between franchisers and the franchisees? Poor incentives? Zero ‘due diligence’ on the part of corporate to prepare or support franchisees in regards to retail customers? Not sure, but here in Dallas/​Fort Worth, at least, seems to be a problem for them. Unfortunately, now searching for a new place to buy paint.
Update: March, 2016: Ever had a place where you really don’t like it at all, but after a while you think maybe you were too harsh, and you give them another shot, only to get burned again? This is that place, and that was my mistake this weekend. Never again.

Have to agree with the others. Love the paint but hate the waiting. I was the only customer in the store but they were working on a contractor’s order of about 30 5 gallon cans. I had to wait for that order to be completed in order to get my 2 gallons. About a half hour wait. There must be a better way?

this place has the worst customee service ever. its crazy busy but only two people working and so rude. after she tells me she cant even try to fix the colormatch unless i buy more expensive paint. she tells me to come back n a hour, an hour and a half later… im told… rudely as can be to come back n four hours… keep the money, screw em… never will sherwin williams ever c another dime from me… so rude. i dont mind the wait, i get it takes a bit… its being an ass… making me angry i ever walked n.
