Definitely great for shopping and dining if you reside in this area. I have a few friends out here so I’ll come hang from time to time. However I never go out of my way to go to Allen for anything. I mean, come on… it’s Allen! But hey, I’m going to support and show love. I grew up right next door in Plano after all. They’re making some strides and building up this area for real. Parking can be a little crazy especially on the weekends when everyone and their grandma seems to want to come out. And 75 traffic is just a whole ‘nother ball game. But I generally have a good time when I’m out here and it’s worth checking out at least once. It’s also pretty family friendly.

Excellent– dining & shopping selection Good– much parking. The stores are all new. Ok– not for walking around window shopping. More like drive to different destinations because it is all spread out. Poor– getting back on to 75 is like going through a maze.

This outdoor mall would be so much nicer if the obnoxiously LOUD bass booming dance/bar music played on every single outdoor speaker would not play all night long. It even comes through loud and clear when in the car with the radio playing. There’s no way to get away from it except to get on 75 and drive away! Lots of family restaurants and stores. Easy to find a parking spot. To bad about the noise pollution.

Layout of this place is pretty cute. Very impractical though and parking/driving in it is insane. Especially if an event is going on at the event center. I work in the villages but luckily I’m never here passed 7pm.

Great shopping area, but parking sucks and it’s a pain finding specific stores if you don’t know exactly where it is.

great place to drive around and feel like you’re in a new and developing area but … not really a good place to shop … but a lot of great places to eat and just walk around hehe.

While they’re experiencing some growing pains(traffic, shops opening and closing, restaurants being very s-l-o-w to open), they’re coming along nicely here. If there’s a knock at all with the development at large, it’s the lack of access on the west side, courtesy of the right-of-way reserved for a light rail deal which may never happen. Ingress on the north side is OK, and egress is fine if you’re going east, not so much if you’re going west. If you’re going to be a regular customer, you’ll probably discover that the north-south Allen Station Parkway along the east side is your best friend in terms of access. All in all, a nice place to visit, and you can shop, dine and be entertained, all in the same area.

I love The Village at Allen/Fairview! This is just what Allen/McKinney/Plano/Frisco etc etc needed! There is a store and restaurant for everyone! Even a park for the dogs and a play area for the little ones.

By far one of the best things that has happened to Allen. There is so much shopping, and everything you could ever want. Parking isn’t a problem. They have live bands on the weekends. Tons of new shops and restaurants are opening weekly!
