Bazzini Nuts has been in business for more than 125 years, and if you’ve visited Yankee Stadium and eaten peanuts there, you’ve had Bazzini nuts. The «official peanut of Yankee Stadium» can be yours for $ 14.50, which gets you a 4 lb tin of lightly salted shelled roasted Virginia peanuts. The nuts are flavorful and fresh.
If you’re going to order for an event like a holiday or Super Bowl party, order early, because as far as I can tell, internet service doesn’t exist. I placed my order online and got an acknowledgment by email, which included a link to my order and the statement that I could check status online. Not really. Bazzinj uses a Yahoo order processing product, and while the link took me to my order, tracking was never available. After a week. I emailed Bazzini several times asking about the status of the order. They never responded (yes, I checked my spam folders). The nuts took a few days to be filled (there WAS a holiday in the middle of the week). Once they shipped from PA, it was a 4 day UPS ground transit to CA. The box was well packed, and the tin the peanuts come in is cool.
So — get your peanuts, but order early and don’t expect an answer to emails.
