Boderman Neil S Optometrist

Absolutely wonderful. He didn’t have any appointments available but was more than willing to fit me in. I had been sent home twice from the E.R. after being told there wasn’t anything wrong with my eye. I’m from CA and I am only living here temporarily and unfortunately I am not covered under my insurance in PA. I have had ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision my entire life so it has been a little scary to start losing vision in my left eye. Dr. Boderman was so sweet, very thorough and put me at ease the entire time. He ran the necessary tests and explained everything in depth. Being that I am leaving back to CA in a few days, he didn’t run expensive tests that would have cost me upwards of $ 2000 but instead wrote me a referral for CA and made copies of all the test results to take back with me. He even offered to call and speak to the specialist Ill be seeing in CA. And then asked me to please send him a copy of my results when I find out what is wrong. I wish I could take him back to CA with me. :) His staff was friendly and the office is lovely!

I’d had a terrible experience with another practitioner and didn’t want to go back, but I badly needed an eye exam. I wasn’t seeing well and my current Rx for contacts had expired. I’m so glad a neighbor recommended Dr Boderman! Dr. Boderman’s office got me in quickly. I didn’t have to wait in the waiting room at all, which was a pleasant surprise. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Boderman explained all the tests and more about my eyes. I think I will finally be able to see well again, thanks to new trial lenses (Rx has likely been wrong for over a year!)
