We just received our first purchase from Ebert Furniture and it will definitely not be our last! I visited the store various times and worked with Liz trying to pick right fabric and style of couch that would work with my other living room furniture. She was extremely patient and very helpful.
The manufacturer ended up sending us the wrong couch. We told the delivery people and within an hour the owner, Greg, contacted us and met with my husband to try to figure out the mistake. This was on a Sunday when the store was closed. By the next morning, he had tracked down our couch and gave us an idea of when it would be delivered. Our couch was delivered about a week later and we LOVE IT!!! It looks beautiful in my living room and is so comfortable.
We are so happy with our purchase and with the service we received from Ebert’s. How a company handles an issue says a lot about their business and philosophy, and both my husband and I were so impressed with how they handled the mix-​up with the couches. This is definitely a company that we will happily do business with again.

I have just completed my third purchase with Eberts. I started with a great piece that we use as a hutch for our dining room. Our king bed came next and finally our coach and love seat. Greg is very informative and patient. They have a great selection and it is great to support a local business. Our furniture was delivered by Josh, who is arguably the nicest and most helpful person for the job. Great Quality.

I purchased some chairs for a new dining room table (purchased elsewhere), and I have to say, this place is top notch.
The store is located in a converted property, and the layout is a bit small and cramped. They have a nice selection of furniture in a variety of styles on premises, and more available in immediate inventory in their warehouse. My wife and I have a modern décor style, and the selection in the «modern» vein was a bit slim — but the special orders and catalogs help quite a bit if they don’t have your taste on the floor.
All that said, where this place shines is in service. It’s very easy to order pretty much anything online, but often, you don’t know what you’re getting. The staff at Ebert knows their furniture. They know what’s quality, what’s not, and they can talk to you about a piece you haven’t seen — and help you decide whether or not it works for you. I can’t speak highly enough — expertise on large purchases is key, and these guys have it in spades.
The chairs I ordered were not in stock, so after a few weeks, they arrived and were delivered. Notification of receipt and delivery were on the same day. The driver was friendly, on time, and helped get everything into the house. He even put felt pads on the bottom of each my chairs before he dropped them off. A great ending to an excellent sales cycle.
Skip the big chains — Pottery Barn, et al. Ebert has the same styles, if not better quality, and actual knowledge of their merchandise.
I’ll definitely be back.
