Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt

This place is awesome. My girlfriend always raves about how much she loves Menchie’s and I have to agree now that I finally went.
Very kid-​friendly atmosphere with plenty of cartoon characters on yogurt cups and above yogurt names.
I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and how neat it was. Toppings and flavors were organized and easy to find, which makes the whole experience a great one. Additionally, the staff is cordial and polite.
Finally, I’ve got to say, this is some of the best frozen yogurt I’ve had throughout the years. Perfect texture and yummy!

The yogurt had a metallic aftertaste which I didn’t care for.

After an incredible dinner at Cali Burrito my friends and I were in the mood for a something a little sweeter… Froyo is always a good answer.
Unfortunately for all froyo places I will always compare to Yogo Crazy in Wyomissing. The standard has been set, and it is hard to break.
I’ve been to Menchie’s a couple of times in the past and normally I find it pretty decent.
This time however I wasn’t very impressed with the flavors. I always go for cake batter, and theirs had a strange aftertaste. Actually it seemed like almost all their flavors did. I also think the Hershey’s shell syrup may have been the culprit here, and since I’ve enjoyed this place before I don’t want to knock too many stars. Their topping offerings are okay, but again I’ve been spoiled by Yogo and their topping options are just amazing.
Overall, it’s definitely worth a trip for something sweet, but there are better options around.

Love this place, great flavors and toppings. Staff always friendly. Fun atmosphere and let’s you experiment with flavors. Of you are not sure just ask for a taste.

First (and LAST) visit to a Menchies. Flavors were whacky and bizzare. What about regular Chocolate and Vanilla? No, not here! Toppings were non appealing to me. Cheese cake pieces and kit kat pieces. Not my idea of appetizing toppings! Clerk was friendly. Prices are just too damn high. Its frigging yogurt. No gold! And the yogurt wasn’t even that good. Avoid this place. Total jip off and not too tasty at all. No, not at all! Won’t be back Menchies! Peace out!

Great concept with great yogurt flavors to pick from. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. The prices are average for this type of frozen yogurt. I would recommend.

I have had frozen yogurt from all over the country (including the the number 1 ice cream place in the world according to national geographic). Menchie’s is by far best frozen yogurt place in the Lehigh Valley.
Many flavors AND toppings — most frozen yogurt places have one or the other. I don’t use more than the same one or two toppings, but I like to see a myriad of options just in case. For example, Menchie’s has pink frosted animal crackers with sprinkles. Haven’t seen that anywhere else.
Graham cracker is the best flavor.
Almost all frozen yogurt is .49/​ounce so I think any reviews regarding price are unhelpful.
I never actually enjoyed going to Allentown before Menchie’s but this and Cali burrito make me look forward to the trip.

They offer many flavors and I LIKED their Facebook page so I get to know some great deals if there are any.
Employees always greet you and helpful if you have any questions. They have some cute cups and spoons. Great for collection.
Lots of toppings to choose from. Their chocolate covered waffles are really good. Just remember the waffles cost an extra $ 1.00 plus the weight of it.
If you pay for the waffles, I think they shouldn’t charge the waffle weight.
The price at 49cents an ounce is pretty expensive considering the location it is at.
But it’s not too bad if you treat yourself or doing a hangout once in a while.

Tart is tart and it should taste the same everywhere else. What makes this place stands out is the fact that they offers 12 flavors to choose from with more than 20 toppings. Their modern and fun interior make enjoyable for sit-​in not to mention their stylist outdoor seating as well.
Cute cups and spoons (you can collect their spoons). Price is wallet friendly if you don’t add too many toppings as they add weight. They also offer large pre pack yogurt as well. .49 cents per ounce and an additional $ 1 for each waffle.
They are now offering chocolate dipped waffle. Very good if you like chocolate. FYI — these waffles take a lot of weight even if they offer $ 1 off a waffle during their promo.
Last couple times I was there, they did not have my favorite caramel almond topping.

Another great location in the chain. This the third one I’ve been too, and they never fail to satisfy. Go on Wednesdays for a free waffle bowl. They usually also have a healthier sorbet flavor, and some healthier toppings, such as fruit, granola, and yogurt chips.

I don’t understand why the other reviewers are so unsatisfied. There are over 10 players choose from at least 40 to 50 different toppings choices.
Sure it isn’t cheap, but the ability to mix and match is what you’re paying for.

Meh. I’ve had much better in the area. Other places have a larger variety of fruits and toppings. Also flavors don’t keep their composure very long after in the dish.

On the plus side, there’s a variety of options of ice cream and toppings to choose from. Ice cream is $ 0.49 an ounce which seems more then other places I’ve been too. Tart ice cream is one of the flavors, but overall, more of an soft serve/​frozen yogurt place. I mixed strawberry and cheesecake, but felt like the cheesecake was lacking in taste. Servers are nice and polite and the store overall had a good atmosphere and is well kept
