This didn’t look like an Italian restaurant that I would visit, but I heard good things that pushed me to give it a try. Growing up eating home-made, true Italian food immediately makes it difficult for Italian restaurant food to impress me, but Mi Piace reached new heights – in the sense of sucking. Yes, they give you a complimentary glass of wine – either the one red option or the one white option – but that’s all the wine they carry. Furthermore, the wine was miserable; then again, I won’t be too harsh; people who like their wine to be nearly indistinguishable from water may enjoy it. Let’s focus on the real apex of the two star rating though – the food. Pasta. low quality, not fully cooked Chicken Parmesan. reminiscent of frozen, processed chicken patties heated in a microwave Bread.a joke Pasta Sauce. wouldn’t be surprised if it was made from Hunt’s brand garbage The soup, seafood bisque, is why they aren’t receiving a one star rating, but even that wasn’t primo. And I don’t like that a bowl costs more than a cup but contains the same amount of soup. Neither was the service impressive – nice enough people, but amateurish and with bad timing. I’m not likely to return, won’t recommend it, and hope to one day find the $ 50 I wasted at this establishment.
