I buy a chimney sweeping gift certificate at a discount in late June of 2014. I call for an appointment in September. I can’t get an appointment until after the heating season starts. They say to call in Spring. I call in late Spring, the week of June 15. Low and behold, the certificate expired on May 31. I had not noticed until I was calling. The certificate was denied. They kept my money. You be the judge. There are many more sweeps to consider.
