Office Depot

This is my goto office supply and shipping store. It is really conveniently located, as is another major office supply store. But I pretty much always come here anyway, for the excellent service I receive. The customer service is always top notch, even when they are busy. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by a friendly associate. Who is always happy to help you find what you are looking for. If they can not help you they, find somebody who can. The staff is knowledgeable of their inventory and product lines that they carry. They will often make suggestions, but are never pushy. Even when it comes to selling protection plans, assemblies, and extended warranties.
I have never had to wait in a long line, they are quick to open more registers. And most of the sales associates can check you out anywhere in the store.
It is tough tough for brick and mortar stores to compete with online retailers, but Office Depot does a pretty good job of it. Prices are fair, and the selection is pretty decent. If they do not have what you are looking for, they can order it, and get most of it just as fast as ordering yourself online. It normally ships for free, to the store or to your door. It is nice to walk out the door knowing what you need is in hand, or at least on the way.
They have a good print service and shipping center. I have had a few things printed here in the past, they really make sure it is done to your satisfaction before you leave the store. The shipping center ships UPS and USPS, so you have more options for the best rate and or the fastest shipping time.
I wish more stores took a lesson on how to treat their customers from Office Depot, they really treat their customers right.

There is a line between good customer service and getting in my face as soon as I set foot in the door. Take a minute to think about what side you are on and if it’s the right one.
They had what I needed but I couldn’t walk around to browse because they wanted to «help» me.

They can teach customer service to all the other big box stores. Very helpful staff. No waiting to check out. Opened up a cash register to new customers. Had all the answers and asked more helpful questions. So great.
