Well ya get what ya pay for I guess. RDE was the only DJ I could find that charged by the hour. Our emails, phone calls and visit ahead of our wedding seemed very professional and on target. But the day of our wedding Brad said he would set up around 2PM and wasn’t there. So when I called at 2:30 and he said he was coming it worried me a tad. He did come but the wedding party entrance was a bit slower than normal and he played songs that we DIDN’T have on our playlist for dancing. He wasn’t very good at coaxing our guests into dancing, it just seemed like our wedding reception cleared out quick. We had a lot of songs from the 1960’s and yet he started the set with two non requests Michael Jackson and Ugh Michael Bolton. My Dad requested rock & roll from the 1950’s but Brad seemed clueless it wasn’t like that music was on our do not play list. I would’ve hoped for some motivation for the crowd. He needs to work on that to be successful for weddings. $ 400 for 4 hrs but we were out $ 100 cos practically everyone left by 6PM and the reception was till 8. Aww well. Not perfect but Jess and I danced anyways and so did a handful of people.
