If you’re looking for a solid, no frills burrito for a good price, this could be your place. I got carnitas(which I’ve found to be a good choice for a first visit). It had a lot of meat on it, but was well balanced with rice and beans. There wasn’t much by the way of cheese or veggies, but you get bottles of green and red hot sauce to go with. I’ll be back to try a few more things on the menu.

Completely unhappy with the service, the server was RUDE. The tacos were the worst tacos I’ve ever had, very very dry & the didn’t have anything but pico de gallo and hot sauce as toppings aside from the onions and cilantro. Tables were filthy I had to ask to clean them. When I asked if the waitress can open my drink that needed a bottle opener she told me to go to the register and do it my self. The WORST service. I will NEVER come back.

Went there for taco Tuesday and it was great! Dollar a taco with so many options. I put on the pico de gallo and salsa and my mouth was on fire so be careful with that! Super tasty place.

I’ve long wanted to stop by here on my way to a Phantoms game after I read some positive reviews. There are quite a few places along this corridor I want to try out. Its chock full of small, family owned eateries that are completely affordable and have the promise of finding a gem in the rough. Its a shame so many people drive right by. I was with my daughter, who even though she is under 10 still loves a good taco. I ordered her two steak tacos, I had a beef tongue taco, tostada, and we split a quesidilla. Two bottled sodas added to the order, and the total came to $ 12. I thought it was some sort of mistake, that’s it? $ 12, for two fast, hot, delicious meals? Done, sold. The tacos were really good. Steak diced up nice, fresh cheese, hot soft tortillas. The beef tongue was excellent too. Tostada was piled high with goodness and for just a couple of bucks might be the best deal on the menu. Food is fresh, lots of selections, and a very welcoming staff. This place is on my short list whenever I am in the area, for sure.

Best tacos on the east coast. Went here on the way to Monticello. I’ve travelled extensively in Mexico and can say these are the best tacos in the Northeast and beyond!

Authetic, delicious, amazing Mexican food. Quiet, but friendly service. You know any type of cuisine is going to be amazing if there’s a grandmother in the kitchen cooking it up! Center-city Allentown can be a little sketchy, but I’m a 20-something white female, and I’ve never felt intimidated going into/out of this place. Try it!!!

This place is legit. It took us 3 years of living in PA to find a good authentic mexican place. The food is good, super cheap, and the family that owns it is very friendly and from southern california! Will be back for sure.

Place looks like a dive in a not so trendy part of town, but don’t let that fool you. I tried the lengua and pollo tacos and felt like I was back down south«Taco Bell» south but even further south than the Rio Grande. The owners and staff are friendly.

You’d have to be pretty brave to wander into this part of town for some grub, but you’d also be rewarded with some authentic Mexican fare! We ordered every taco(.99 cents) on the menu, from your tame chicken variety to more«risky» beef cheeks and tongue. Eat it, it’s good. The tacos are in a corn flour tortilla, just like in the streets of May He Co city. I also had their chicken ‘dillas, which was amazeballs. The tostadas, too, were pretty delicioso. And that corn with mayo and that powdery white cheese? Mmmmm, that was good. #gordito

This is great food for the price. I paid $ 7 for a quesodilla, drink, and veggie burrito. You won’t get complementary chips and salsa here, but at the price, no one should care. The food was fine. Come here for the value, not to impress a date. It’s not in a nice part of Allentown, and the place is nothing fancy on the inside, but if you are fine with that give this place a try.

This is THE place in the Lehigh Valley for tacos, especially on Tuesdays when they go for $ 1 each. You’ll find the standards here(carnitas, chicken, steak), plus lengua, cabeza, and adobada. Their chorizo tacos are particularly good. The order counter doubles as a lime/radish/pico bar, so you can dress up your double corn tortilla with meat, cilantro and onions however you like. They also have great red and green picante in the refrigerator. There are better options for burritos in the neighborhood, but these tacos really shine. You’ll also find other central mexican dishes, with enough«authenticity» to make the adventurous diner feel like they are eating something special.
