I put in a request for an estimate this morning, and spoke with someone for baseline figures. Nevermind the extremely unprofessional hard sell, various people from TruGreen continued to call a total of SEVENTIMES in a short period today, during my very hectic business hours. This isn’t follow-up and attentive service, it’s aggressive and rude. So as not to support such tactics, I’ll be seeking lawn services elsewhere. UPDATE: a month after requesting that they stop calling and contacting customer service, I continued to get at least one call daily until I finally blocked their number.

Whatever you do, avoid using TruGreen. They have a great sales pitch but are totally unreliable. I cannot tell you how many calls I have received to ‘reschedule’ and it is not the end of May and I have yet to have my first application for the year. Additionally I tried the Soil PH service last fall and I was very clear about it being a ‘one time application’, but low and behold they came again the in spring and when I called they said the service was for a year despite me being very clear I only agreed to a single application. You are much better of doing it yourself as I will now do.

This is one of the worse run companies on the planet. Yes they help make my lawn look ok using lots of harsh chemicals. Which isn’t that great in itself, but my problem is they bill me twice for every service. Additionally, this year to avoid their crazy billing tactics I pre-paid for 2014 and what do you know? Right after the first service I got a bill. I called to ask why and they said, my pre-pay covered the previous year. I would not recommend this company to anyone. In total I’ve spent 6 hours on the phone discussing billing. Even the drivers have no idea who and when should be providing the lawn care. I’m finished with them forever.

Terrible company more of a tele-marketing firm than a lawn care company
