Walmart

Every time I come to this location, whether I find the product I’m looking for or not, they’re always courteous and helpful. The lines are never a problem here and there is an abundance of staff available for the needs you may have. I don’t know what the issue is with others on this post — maybe they’ve never experienced other Walmart locations. Count your blessings!

I’m writing about my site to store experience because my local Wal-​Mart didn’t carry the item I needed and I liked the free shipping option. Decided to buy other items on this trip because it took 45 mins to get here.
There was no one behind the counter or waiting in line when I arrived. The touch screen to call for assistance was either broken or turned off. Rang the bell and waited, no one came. Called the # on my confirmation email to let someone know I was there and waited another 10 mins for someone to arrive. There were several other associates that had walked in and out of the back room the entire time I was waiting without even acknowledging me or offering any help. Then the boy couldn’t find my order. I heard him scrounging around the back for 10+ mins and yelling about how my order was missing. Eventually found it in the cabinet that was right behind the register.
Please refresh your employees on store pickup procedures and about providing basic customer service.

This is probably the cleanest, most normal, and least sketchy of all Walmart’s that I have ever visited. The items all seem pretty well organized and we were able to go through the checkout line quite quickly. So, if you are around the Lehigh Valley, go here!

Jon D. gives it 2 stars, but has 32 ‘Check Ins’. Clearly he’s not that disappointed. Shame that Unilocal doesn’t blend the rating to take into account the number of times a Unilocaler visits.
Is anyone else getting tired of the «Walmart is a terrible store» rant? It’s so terrible that it is the largest retailer in the world. Unlike some ‘largest in the world’ companies, they are sufficiently well run to have survived the recent economic downtown without government bail-​out aid (i.e. GM, Chrysler, Citibank, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, etc.), among many other marks meriting commendation.
This location is a decent Walmart. Shelves are generally stocked well. Over the years, I’ve used the automotive services, and shopped at most departments in the store. This location is reasonably well lit, and feels generally clean. I’ve visited during the day, and late at night.
If you’re familiar with Walmarts, you won’t be disappointed by this location.

The mechanic took over thirty minutes to do the oil change and kept interrupting himself and leaviing the car. There was an added fee for the filter that was not explained to me and I was told that the car was low by half a quart of oil. This is NOT true as I checke the oil level just before bringing the car in for service. Not sure why they lied.

This store has excellent prices and a decent selection for the area. Most of the time it is clean. However, the deli lines are horrendous. I have never been to a supermarket where you have to wait 30 minutes to just be seen. It is every time.

This place sucks. Just kill me now. They have no one working here, and good luck finding a manager

walmarts are walmarts, right? cheap prices. lacking certain brands and products. nonsensical store layouts. low-​paid employees. crowded checkout lines. no-​questions-​asked returns. and the ever-​elusive one thing you know they have but just can’t find. this particular Walmart, at least, has some pretty friendly greeters AND an Auntie Anne’s (pretzels) near the checkout lanes!

I’m assuming that they recently reorganized the store as most of the aisles that I went down did not have what the sign said they had. Regardless I found my way and was able to get most of the stuff I was looking for. What’s strange is that even though you buy the video games and electronics in the electronics department you can only return or exchange it in the customer service area at the front of the store. So when my boyfriend bought three items and I realized that we already owned one we had to also stop at customer service so we ended up standing in 3 different lines. Also during our trip here someone opened the emergency exit and the alarm was going off for several minutes and none of the employees were interested in looking into it or turning it off.

Comparing this one to the other location on 7^th St I’d much prefer this one. It’s relatively cleaner and more stocked. But like all Wal-​Mart in general, it’s messy and they restock during the day which can be annoying but when it’s open 24 hr/​day I guess they have to restock it sometimes. Can’t blame them because I know they’re understaffed and there always seem to be customers who feel like they’re allowed to be rude in Wal-​Mart and toss clothing/​items anywhere they want. And of course there are always the rude ignoramuses who get in line at the express lanes with a full cart!
I’m a fan of the pharmacy here. Beware the pharmacy at the other location though: it’s a nightmare and the workers are rude!

I really don’t like walmart. I try to avoid going there a much as I can because of how crowded it is. They have a lot of registers but at any given time there is only ever 2 or 3 open so there are constantly long lines. The shelves a always a mess and the employees are not very friendly or knowledgable about the store.

I haven’t shopped at this store in 4 years, i went in today because someone gave my son a gift card for his birthday and i wanted to get him a few books. They changed the store around, i think for the worse. And today it was very dirty. Many of the displays were poorly organized where i was looking through the store. They had only a few books, the shelf was mostly empty. I have never had a good shopping experience here and that is why i stopped shopping there. now i have to go back to use up the rest of my gift card, ugh.
