I will drive 30 min out of my way for the fried dumplings! Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews. This place has been here forever and yes the neighborhood is sketchy but the food is awesome. It’s a takeout place, not a restaurant. Service isn’t rude, just no frills. Cash ONLY!

I’m really boggled by all the positive reviews for this place. After reading them, my husband and I decided to try it out and were excited to finally have some decent Chinese. Well, were we mislead. I got the broccoli and chicken which was completely flavorless and wayyyy overcooked. «I love mushy, over cooked broccoli»…said no one ever! My husband got the general tsos. It was like the first time they used a fryer. It was entirely way too dry and crunchy. There was barely any sauce covering them. We thought at the very least we could enjoy the egg rolls. Sike! They were a huge disappointment as well. They reminded me of when my high school attempted to make Chinese food and failed miserably. Oh and did I mention I had to pay extra for my egg roll since my combo came with white rice instead of fried? And since when did you have to pay extra for a fortune cookie? Yeah, so dumb! I guess our search for good Chinese food in the Lehigh Valley continues!

Best take out Chinese food in the area. I would highly suggest the chicken and broccoli. I have been going there for years and the food is the the typical greasy Chinese food. The atmosphere is more take out then dine in. It is also cash only. Which is why I am giving it four stars. But overall this place is the go to place for Chinese food.

The service comes off rude… Maybe it’s a culture thing. Sketchy location for sure, I did not feel comfortable. The food didn’t blow me away. Average Chinese food when it comes to sweet and sour chicken. Their spicy beef wasn’t spicy in the least and it was more veggies than meat in the portion. I wouldn’t recommend it or return.

This is the place to get greasy chinese takeout that will just make you crave even more after eating it. If you don’t pass out from food coma first that is. I used to live nearby so it was always the place to go. But try to go a little early because it can be a bit shady. Now that I live on the west end of Allentown, I just cannot seem to find any place that will compare to Wun Wu. So I will make the 20 minute drive just to grab some. Yum… Maybe it is a good thing I don’t live so close anymore else I’ll be there everyday.

I have to agree with the review from Scott C. This place is great! The lunch specials are like a meal and a half for me, and I eat a lot. A chicken with brocolli lunch special is like $ 4.60. You simply cant beat that. The food is very good too. I have been to Asia(the restuarant on susquehana), and while it may have all these best of the valley awards, I have to say that Wun wu is way better– the food is tastier, cheaper, and the portions are larger. The hot and spicy beef is excellent. The dumplings are the second best I’ve ever had. The general tso’s chicken is a bit garlicy, but you will only notice it after you are done eating, and a good mint solves that problem. The only real bad part about it is that it is in a kind of dicey area. This is one of those chinese places that probably sells more fried chicken wings than chinese food. There are sometimes people outside begging for money. This place is cash only– no credit cards. For the value, you cannot beat it. $ 15 got my wife and I enough food to eat for 2 and a half delicious meals.

Thi is not a high end fusion place. This is not fresh authentic Chinese food. It is kind of dirty, customer service is lacking, and the clientele often appear ready to stab someone, but this is simply the best greasy junk food Chinese take-out in the city and burbs. Period.
