i share the thoughts of the 1st reviewer below. this used to be a nice place to live with good management and value. we moved here 5 years ago to escape the hustle and bustle of LA and save a little cash. the building has always had it’s issues: frequent plumbing issues, A/Cs and blinds that don’t work, and an aging look overall. but, given the price at the time, we were willing to tolerate it and call it home. for $ 1,100/month, it was a fair price for the area for 600 sqft units with parking, pool, and exercise room. however, the building was sold in late 2015 to a private equity group in san francisco, and they have basically turned the whole apartment into a «fix-and-flip» project. as far as we can tell, all the tenants received a 40%+ rent increase notice(no rent control in alhambra), and unit by unit, we are all moving out. they are renovating the units and want to charge over $ 1,500/month. the new management company is not good(apartment management consultants, llc). as the previous reviewer noted, we have had unannounced water shutoffs, constant noise, trash, and even flat tires because of all the work that is going on. if one does have a legitimate issue, AMC, LLC requires multiple follow ups by phone and email in order to get an answer from them, whereas previous management was 24 hours tops without issue. AMC, LLC is a national management company and has very bad reviews online. my recommendation is that you look elsewhere and don’t overspend here. if you look hard enough, you can find good, comparable units with nice amenities in the immediate vicinity for $ 1K to $ 1.2K /month.

Évaluation du lieu : 1 Alhambra, CA
I am a current resident of this apartment complex. Ever since Apartment Management Consultants, LLC took over it has been horrible living here. They are not considerate of the current residents, they have turned off the hot water 3 times without any notice and each time has been on the weekend. The water was shut off for 5+ hours each time, I understand if they did it because it was due to an emergency. But my fiancé asked and it was because they were changing fixtures in a vacant apartment. They are looking to increase the rent by $ 500-$ 700(for the 1 bedrooms at least), I guess this is their way of trying to drive out the current residents so they can get a whole lot more $$ for new renters. We currently pay $ 1065 for a 1 bedroom, but on their website it states studios are going for $ 1200 — $ 1400 and 1 bedroom for $ 1500 — $ 1700. Another thing, they had completed a high water pressure cleaning on our balcony(this we got a notice for), but a week later(just when we had put everything back into place) they spray painted our balcony and pushed everything against our balcony screen door… Uhmmm… there was no notice given for this and thank you for touching our stuff, which is our property and making it nearly impossible to open the balcony screen door. I would advise to not move in here, they only care about getting more money for the owner. The laundry room has been closed for 2 weeks now, making it a huge inconvenience. I complained to them because nearly all the washers and dryers were broken and eating up all our money because there were 0 «out of order» signs on the machines to distinguish which to not use. They closed the laundry room after this, but nothing has been done about this. I also emailed them because they started working on the roof, but it rained one night and I could hear the water dripping on our ceiling, luckily the water didn’t seep through but I never even heard back from them. Save your money and rent at a place that cares and is considerate of their tenants. I hope someone who is interested in renting at this complex reads this and will reconsider moving in. Really unprofessional apartment manager and company, if you look on the Better Business Bureau website they have an F-rating!
