Applebee’s

Walked in at 5:00. There were only a few tables. Our wonderful server Mikayla kept up on our drinks, but the kitchen apparently couldn’t get it together enough to even cook our appetizer. She had to go several times to remind them we were waiting. Our meal didn’t make it out until 50 min. later. THE MANAGER NEVER EVEN APOLOGIZED TO US!!! We were not mean or loud or belligerent. Maybe if we were she would have. We didn’t cause a fuss, and she didn’t comp one thing after we waited for our food for almost ONE HOUR! Never again.

Applebee’s is the best restaurant in Alliance and the staff is always friendly! I would recommend this place to my friends! How can you beat half price Apps!

I had to send my steak back. It was completely fatty. I couldn’t even cut it up. This restaurant uses way toomm much salt on their food. Our server was nice but the damage was done with my steak. I didn’t want to eat my replacement steak. Applebees needs to decrease their sodium amounts on their food. I leave feeling bloated.

I’m always amazed at the number of vehicles in the parking lot because I don’t know what others see in this Applebee’s. I realize there are few places that are open late into the evening so that may account for some of it.
Waitstaff is pleasant enough and the drinks are good, but the food too often appears to have come out of the freezer and gone into the microwave on its way to the diner. Too many menu options contain processed foods.
Also the kitchen staff is not always trained effectively. The last salad I got there was a bowl of basil, not spinach. Have you ever smelled a big bowl of basil? It is really overpowering. When I brought it to the attention of my server I could tell she did not believe me but she took my salad back to the kitchen. A few minutes later the manager came over and apologized saying the bag of basil leaves had been mis-​marked. Okay… I’m just amazed that a dinner salad of fragrant basil leaves could be prepared without the kitchen staff realizing what it was they were handling.

If I’m looking for lunch on a weekend and I don’t feel like driving too far, I have very few choices.
Burgers are good. They usually don’t cook the hell out of them.
Since I don’t usually drink at lunch they only get three stars. If I went for dinner, they would probably get 4. If someone was buying me shots;5.

Took 22 minutes to get our food, which would have been ok if they were busy. However, that was not the case. When our food arrived, it came right after a 6 top received their food. Our food arrived cold. Service was pleasant but very slow. The manager offered to remake our food and we did let them remake one order. The manager comped a portion of one meal (for the cold fries.). All in all this was not a great experience but because they tried to make it right, we will give them another shot.

Applebees is Applebees, yet some are executed better than others and this is a good one.
Went there yesterday for lunch. We were seated promptly and courteously. Rather than some teenybopper running ahead of us to our table we were escorted by an articulate young man who was actually quite friendly. We were tended to almost immediately and our drinks arrived quickly. My glass was never empty, we were routinely checked on. It was a happy service day.
The food is what it is. We did the 2 for $ 20. Food was just average — general Applebees fare. But it was the service that made this experience stellar. Restaurant was clean. Waitress was friendly. Food was prompt and decent. What more can ya want.
Also saw that they have good happy hour and late nite specials, might have to check that out.

This, like many others, is your standard Applebee’s restaurant. Still though, its a nice place to go for dinner and honestly one of the nicer places in town.
They also have a decent bar and bar staff available, not a bad place for after hours.

I really like Apple Bee’s.there are always some new items mixed in with the classics. The menu has many good choices (except I am disappointed a lack of vegetarian selections). Cheese quesidillas were good and friends’ choices of «crispy orange chicken bowl» and «pecan crusted salad» were regulars for them.
Service was satisfactory.
