I really enjoy going to Hot Pots when I am feeling creative and have some extra cash. There are a lot of different activities that you can choose from (paint, mosaics, glass fusion, candle making, etc.). The workers are usually pretty friendly and check on your progress with whatever you are working on. They will often make suggestions when you’re stuck on what to do.
The only time that I have had bad service is when Hot Pots gets busy. When it’s busy, you won’t be offered popcorn, they rarely check on you, and you’re left waiting to pay or get help.
It’s a bit pricey, but they have specials throughout the week to make it a little more worth while.

I first heard of this place on LivingSocial. I bought an offer for a glass fusion class. Oh yes my friends, this isn’t just pottery painting. They offer candlemaking, clay sculpting, mosaics, glass painting and FREE popcorn.
It is a really fun creative space. The staff is incredibly helpful with ideas and explanations. There are a million different things you can paint, decorate and create. They even offer mixed media classes on occassion.
So far I have been three times and keep taking more people. I am getting addicted to being there. For heaven sakes they have a snack bar with keurig coffee, brownies, pop, water and whatever someone brought in for reasonable prices. Or they will let you bring in food. During our class one group brought in beer, so you better believe it gets festive.
Make sure to check out their daily special and take friends when you have an urge to make something pretty.
