Rhyne’s Junction

Went here for dinner and ordered a chef salad and a classic hot dog. The salad was definitely below average which is why I rated two stars. The lettuce was old, wilted, the salad did not have a fresh appearance and chunks of ham and chicken were rubbery and looked fake. The ration of bleu cheese dressing covered about a fifth of the salad and I didn’t feel like buggin the waitress to bring more since the salad was not that great to begin with. When the dressing was gone, I gave up on the salad and transferred my attention to the hot dog and fries. The hot dog and fries were good. I brought home a full rack of ribs, sweet potato side and cole slaw side for a family member. The ribs were good and the coleslaw was good. Sweet potatoes were, meh, not whole potatoes but mashed sweet potatoes in a container? I was expecting like a potato with a skin? Who got and ate my skins? The menu has many burgers and hot dogs and some barbecue for dinner. There is an extensive breakfast menu.

I’d heard good things about the burgers, but had a hankering for some ribs after I saw the menu. I had a half rack with Memphis Sweet sauce. VERY good and a half rack was sufficient as the ribs were big and tasty! Try ‘em! The service needs some work but that’s overcome by some very nice people who care about their restaurant. We were made to feel right at home. Give Rhyne’s a shot.

Love this new spot at the corner of Main and Arch… the latest addition to the Main Crossing (Arts District) in Alliance. I’ve visited three times and can’t say enough good things. I had the most awesome hotdog of my life there. It’s called the Iron Man and I know it was not a fluke because I went back and ordered it AGAIN and was wowed all over again. Who would guess a Nathan’s dog stuffed with jalapeños and wrapped in bacon would be absolutely amazing? Well it’s topped with fried onion and guacamole and it will change your life! There’s a complete BBQ menu with three sauces. I had a pulled chicken sandwich with the bourbon sauce and highly recommend it. It’s my mission to make it there for breakfast soon. The owners are local people who are putting their hearts into this joint and it won’t disappoint… get down there and taste for yourself.
