Kyle’s passion for the drums is contagious, and I may have caught it.
He repeatedly displays his patience and adaptability during our lessons by keeping things fresh, asking for feedback, and listening to my difficulties. Kyle managed to teach me what I thought could not be taught: an ability to musically pick apart almost anything with a beat. Taking drum lessons with him helped me get back into the musical-​mindedness that feeds into enthusiasm for the very thing itself.
Kyle is an absolute ideal instructor for anyone who gets excited about music and rhythm, has an innate desire to learn something new, or wants to exercise the musical part of their brain. Can’t wait for my next lesson!

As an experienced drummer who took a few years off, I was looking to get back into the set and after trying a few other drum instructors in the area who didn’t click, I found Kyle. Kyle immediately distinguished himself from my previous teachers with his impressive and varied drumming background, his unique approach to the kit and – most importantly – his infectious enthusiasm. Kyle has the rare ability to teach complicated drumming concepts in an accessible, practical and enjoyable way.
Kyle is consistently willing to go above and beyond our weekly hour lesson; he sends out a weekly email recap and makes himself available for any follow-​up questions (I often text him if I have any questions left over from lessons). If you are looking for someone who will provide you with the tools and inspiration to reach your drumming goals, look no further.

I had never even been behind a real drum kit before taking lessons with Kyle, he truly makes learning the drums feel way less daunting. He is a very patient, punctual and effective instructor. The lessons feel catered to not only your skill level and music taste, but also your personality. The lessons are productive and overall really fun.
I highly recommend Kyle if you’re looking to learn the drums or improve your technique with a super talented, committed and encouraging instructor.
