Well, first of all, do not go there. Read the review, you got the idea. It is literally the worst furniture store I have ever been to. Here is the whole story: I ordered a brand new sofa bed, they assured me that it will be delivered within a week. But it got delayed, like always. So I waited another week, I called them few times trying to figure out the new delivery date, but the lady in the store refused to tell me anything other than saying: «Sorry, I am very busy, I have to hang up, give me your number, and I will call you back.» And of course, she never did. So after a few days, I called them again, this time, a guy picked up the phone, and he was much nicer, he told me that he would check the delivery status for me, and let me know as soon as possible. Eventually, I got the sofa bed. Although it was delayed, and the lady in the store does not have the best attitude on the phone, I guess I would still go to Easy beds again in the future, because after all, everything else was good. However, that was not the end of the story. The sofa bed was broken, on the first day! I was sitting on it with my roommate, and the two front legs collapse. My roommate and I together weight roughly 350 pounds, and I am sure the sofa bed was designed to hold more than two people. When I checked, the broken legs were hollow, and they were made by very cheesy materials. I called the store right away. But they were closed at the time, so I called them the next day. It was that lady on the phone again, and surprisingly, she was very angry when she heard the sofa bed was broken, and she insisted that it must be our fault, she said that we must had a party or something. I was trying to be patience and explain to her what happened, but she wouldn’t listen, she said that she was very busy, and she does not have time for this, so she asked me to take a picture of the broken sofa bed, then she will contact the factory and determine if it’s a quality issue. Anyway, when I heard back from the store, it was already a week later, they told me that the factory will send two replacement(the front legs). Today, the lady from the store called me to come to the store and pick up the replacement, then she told me that I will have to install them myself, if I don’t have the electric drill, I can go to a tool store to buy it. She said, and I quote:” I do not send my men for free, if you want us to install it, you will have to pay $ 50.” Of course I was not happy about it, because I paid for the delivery and installation service fee at the first place, and why do I have to pay it again? I was already very upset with the fact that the sofa bed was broken after only a few hours, and the crappy customer service. That lady on the phone, she talks very fast, and wouldn’t let me talk to her, she said: «When we left your apartment, the sofa bed was in perfect condition, so I don’t care what you did with it, but it is not our fault, and you have to deal with it yourself.» Well, if the sofa bed was in perfect condition, it wouldn’t broke, right? I was trying to communicate with her, but she wouldn’t listen, «I am sorry, I am very busy, I don’t have time to talk, do you want to pick them up or not? «I had to raise my voice and ask her to let me talk, but then she accused me of yelling at her. She said, «If you don’t come to the store yourself, we will not do anything.» And then she hanged up, and I did not even have time to say anything. This was the worst experience for me. I can’t imagine to manage a business with such a terrible attitude to your customer. I will not go to that store again. If you want my advice, do the same.

One of the best places in Allston to get your entire apartment furnished ! Prices for products is reasonable and not as expensive as Sleepy’s and other stores around in Allston ! They offer discounts if you and your room-mates happen to buy stuff from this same place… And they have student discounts too ! Fred and his wife are one of the best folks around Allston-Brighton to help you set up your room. Fred’s got a million things going on but will make sure you get what you’ve asked for and will also throw in stuff for free at times — I got a bed with planks — Was a bit shaky — he threw in a bunky bed frame for free and it’s been great since! Fred not only delivered stuff for free but also set up my bed, side table for a very very reasonable price… even helped me mount a WalMart Mirror and desk in the same price ! He’s passionate about what he does and that’s good ! If you are patient and cordial with Fred and his wife — they will go out of their way to help you out ! As for prev reviews, I believe you should test out a mattress before you complain about it and that in no way is the fault of the store. Overall exceptional service and a great store. Highly recommend

This was the worst furniture-buying experience I have ever had in my entire 25 years of existence. Not exaggerating, I assure you. The delivery was postponed 3 times over the course of 3 weeks. I purchased a memory foam mattress and it came with wooden slats to support it. THESEARENOTSUFFICIENTSUPPORT. The mattress needs a Bunkie board, or some other flat support system. I have had back aches ever since I started sleeping on it. The owner will not pay to replace the slats; she wants me to pay for it. Save yourself from frustration and steer clear of this place. This place is cheaper than any other mattress store in the area, and CONTRARY to the previous review, I’ve found the service to be great. I’ve purchased 3 mattresses from this store. This is a family owned store, and they give free delivery for mattresses(within the area, I suppose). It sounds like the reviewer before didn’t purchase her mattress carefully. All the mattresses sold by Easy Beds are custom ordered from a supplier in Texas, so it’s no wonder they didn’t want to take an extra mattress back. They were even nice enough to offer a temporary mattress before delivery.

The owners at this store were incredibly helpful and friendly. There was no pressure to buy one product over another, or to buy anything for that matter– refreshingly different from the usual vibe in a mattress place. I was in the market for a mattress with springs on both sides. I was delighted that the owner both acknowledged that was a more durable construction, and offered several different kinds like that all. The prices are great too. When I went to other shops in Allston to check prices and selection, other stores’ staff scoffed when I asked for a 2-sided mattress, saying it didn’t make a difference, and then quoted me prices much higher than Easy Beds. See ya! Now, almost a year later, I’m sleeping easy on my mattress. It is still super comfy and firm. I’m in the market for some new furniture this month, and I will definitely be heading to Easy Beds first!
